My wife and I clean crappie the exact same way! I fillet them with the electric knife and she cuts the rib cages. It’s definitely a huge help when you need to knock out a cooler full of fish.

Try this, after you get your filets dry put them in a bowl and put a coating of olive oil on them. Then roll them in your fav cornmeal and cook. The oil helps retain the cornmeal crust.

If you are the Skipper of the boat and you are in the back,then back in and leave the other person in the front of the boat. Then you can get all the fish and it won't matter how long his fishing pole is. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe

Looks good. In Louisiana we leave them on the bone and soak in Mustard with a little hot sauce and water. Then use a light coating of fish fry. Not sure if you ever tried it that way. First time I’ve ever watched your show and really enjoyed it. Will continue to watch it.

I live in a semi-arid area of the US quite a distance from any ocean and not many rivers or lakes near either so your videos are fun to watch and satisfy an itch at least a little. The main thing I appreciate are the simpler videos you do like this one that us commoners can identify with doing. Not that flying off to Tahiti wouldn't be fun to watch or bagging a 1000-pound tuna, but I prefer the videos I can identify with. Don't forget us common folk and keep up the good work. Thanks! I also absolutely love the ACC crappy stixs and is the only fishing pole I use for pan fish and some bass fishing and walleyes!!! You definitely can not beat an ACC crappy stix for the durability they put out for sure!!! Absolutely swear bye them!!!!!
