Been a yugioh fan for decades but wasn't able to own TCG/OCG cards, also a Duel Links player for half a decade to compensate my love for the franchise. Whats cool for me is that this structure deck has Uncensored DMG and Original Monster Reborn art. I would buy this if only Im not broke
I think both decks have some really nice stuff in them. Makes me wish that yugioh had an alternative format with lower powered decks so that product like this could get a chance to really shine.
im mad becous in the tcg we dont have these power up packs includet in the structure decks we just have the structure deck and on the play mat of in a difrent litle booklet says witch packs to get to power up our deckbuy great video🤩
That's the whole point of a structure deck though, isn't it? You're given a deck of cards to get you started, then you branch off into the booster packs to help strengthen your deck.
The cards on the booster pack are just introduced on the regular deck when it gets released on TCG, the only thing that changes is the foil of those cards. In this case I’m not that sure, cuz the total pool of the booster pack is way bigger this time, and I don’t think we will be getting the whole thing, but it was the case on previous releases.
This isn't enough to power up the decks to a modern level, but it's neat stuff. Plenty of existing players are out there who would sell their old BEWD deck , so you could get a deck and probably free sleeves too
Pretty nice. If they gave the same treatment to the other characters this would be prety awesome for goat players who wanted this but only had to go for speed duel.
I'm glad non japanese and Chinese speaker asian get to play the official OCG again in English language, heard them had English version before but discontinued, i hope they'll bring the more modern structure deck, I'll really like the albaz strike structure deck..
the new dark magician support isn't bad. Quick play spells that allows you to easily get spell/trapcards to the hand, as well as dark magician to the hand. It empowers the eternal soul play. Plus, it's easy to have 3 dark spellcasters in the grave, to ensure your dark magicians (including the fusion card, and technically the ritual card) are protected, AND also protect the banishing circle. As a structure deck it's not as interesting as the other recent releases in the west. But it's a neat, small, little powerup. The blue eyes deck is a bit yikes. Honestly i only thought the dragon rhapsody spell card was..... sort of okay. Not gonna lie, these structure decks disappointed me a little
Both decks are power enough to a nice anime duel with the prota fate, and to use Yugi skill destiny draw. I see this duel demanding at least two episodes or more to end.
Do all OCG cards even Asian english has a silver stamp? Because Ive got a bunch of old Asian English which has an AE in their set number but they are gold stamp.
Dark magician's deck seems like the better of the 2, sad to see not much support in that blue eyes structure deck at all, not much different than what they offered from Saga of Blue eyes...
it's a shame that those decks seem so hard to get outside of asia (or at least here in Europe) because the prices of soul servant, magician's souls and the dark magicians fusion are astronomical even though an almost 'pure' dark magician deck obviously still struggles against current meta, especially without it's own maxx "C" and ashblossoms. as someone who grew up with yu-gi-oh I just wanna play the nostalgic archetypes I grew up with, I love playing DM! but it's an unpleasant sight if you try to look how expensive it would be to stock up on 3 soul servants and 3 magician's souls (and of course also the fusion monster the dark magicians because that HAS to be a staple in a DM deck as well) and you see a combined price of like 50-100 bucks. and this is just part of the 'engine' in the deck, it's not even the whole deck. and even IF you get your hands on one of those decks, it contains both only 1 soul servant and 1 magician's souls, not even the fusion. so you probably need to buy 3 decks in total anyway, still are short on a bunch of cards and you probably come close to the price of if you would just buy all the missing cards alone without buying those decks XD still though, I definitely keep an eye out for those decks and if they might lead to price drops of at least soul servant and magician's souls, I just really really want a DM deck again that has somewhat consistency XD

With Kashtira I agree. The only time I could think of Blue-Eyes being top or one of the tops was Pendulum era and when Halq was around. It would be nice to see a Blue-Eyes support card based off Halq and only for Blue-Eyes so meta can't use it because Halq made Synchros and Blue-Eyes absolutely insane. Would be nice to see Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon getting a evolve form, Acel Synchro or Double Tuning or both. Either way, can't wait to see what Blue-Eyes get in the future. He Dragon and Dictator of D was absolutely incredible and amazing support to the deck.
that parallep secret destrudo and dd crow, i wish we had those in the TCG, looks amazing overall, i mean, it was pretty clear these wouldn't be particularly great products, asian english yugioh is always left behind
disappointing... The power up packs had a bunch of cards in them that are must haves in either deck, at 1 or 2 copies; including a bunch of staple extra deck cards for the archetypes. (ie.: Ebon Illusion Magician, Illusion of Chaos, Alternative Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dragon Spirit of White) And with those cards not being certain draws in the structure deck... just no. Comparing it to other recent releases, like the Traptrix, or Red Dragon ARchfiend structure decks, they miss a ton of the actually useful stuff, while have a bunch of useless junk in there. Like, who even uses robe? or thousand knives? or Kaibaman? or ANY dragon monsters below level 8 above level 1 in a blue eyes deck? noone, that's who. But there's no Dark Magicians, Quintet Magician, Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon, any variant of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, ANY staple rank 7 or 8 XYZ card, nothing... I was really hopeful, as I love both of these archetypes, but half of the actually useful cards areeither in the power up packs, or missing altogether...
To you it may be but those who want cards like Magician Souls, its not. That card is expensive. Its worth getting for those who couldn't afford such a cards.
My only criticism is that the blue eyes deck doesn't come with blue eyes jet dragon a budget version of that card would have been good, those power up packs are going to be very pricey moving forward

The boxes designs are cool, they have an old school vibe and the idea is great, im buying them but for nostalgia and collection only but those decks are dissapoiting... Also, wtf with the power up packs? Haha, nice for some goat format thing

You are aware apprentice illusion magician isn't the main card you should be hyping up from the dm structure deck. It's the magician souls common which is a big deal

These structure decks are scams, do not buy them. I'm very disappointed with their power-up packs. Hopefully, the new upcoming OCG structure deck in the future will not be like this... 20 cards pool for the power-up pack, that's f***** up. Also, They promised us new card support that can compete with current meta decks. It was all a lie. I'm not buying these garbage structure decks. But hey, if you're Blue-eyes fans and Dark Magician fans, Go ahead. This is just my personal opinion about the product. If I have to choose one of these...? I'll go with Dark Magician for a better card pool in the main deck. BUT IF the Blue-Eyes SD has Alternative, Jet, and Bingo in its "Main deck" It will be a different story. But it's too late for that, Konami f***** it up.

and even IF you get your hands on one of those decks, it contains both only 1 soul servant and 1 magician's souls, not even the fusion. so you probably need to buy 3 decks in total anyway, still are short on a bunch of cards and you probably come close to the price of if you would just buy all the missing cards alone without buying those decks XD
still though, I definitely keep an eye out for those decks and if they might lead to price drops of at least soul servant and magician's souls, I just really really want a DM deck again that has somewhat consistency XD

Patience is key. We got Blue-Eyes support many times, next year we may be getting more, as well as Dark Magician support too.

With Kashtira I agree. The only time I could think of Blue-Eyes being top or one of the tops was Pendulum era and when Halq was around. It would be nice to see a Blue-Eyes support card based off Halq and only for Blue-Eyes so meta can't use it because Halq made Synchros and Blue-Eyes absolutely insane. Would be nice to see Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon getting a evolve form, Acel Synchro or Double Tuning or both. Either way, can't wait to see what Blue-Eyes get in the future. He Dragon and Dictator of D was absolutely incredible and amazing support to the deck.

disappointing... The power up packs had a bunch of cards in them that are must haves in either deck, at 1 or 2 copies; including a bunch of staple extra deck cards for the archetypes. (ie.: Ebon Illusion Magician, Illusion of Chaos, Alternative Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dragon Spirit of White)
And with those cards not being certain draws in the structure deck... just no. Comparing it to other recent releases, like the Traptrix, or Red Dragon ARchfiend structure decks, they miss a ton of the actually useful stuff, while have a bunch of useless junk in there. Like, who even uses robe? or thousand knives? or Kaibaman? or ANY dragon monsters below level 8 above level 1 in a blue eyes deck? noone, that's who. But there's no Dark Magicians, Quintet Magician, Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon, any variant of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, ANY staple rank 7 or 8 XYZ card, nothing...
I was really hopeful, as I love both of these archetypes, but half of the actually useful cards areeither in the power up packs, or missing altogether...

- Que Dark Magician y Blue Eyes tengan nuevos artes exclusivos, pero no,ponen los que mas veces sacan y abundan: los de la piedra detrás.
- que hubieran tokens nuevos
Se que eventualmente si sacaran nuevo soporte pero vamos Konami,eso debió ser aquí en estas estructuras tematicas de los 2 monstruos mas iconicos de tu juego
