Yes, I totally agree with you, but this should be applicable not just to people out of the jail, it should happen even amongst us while living in a community. Jealousy makes one do all kinds of wrongs and we unintentionally sometimes down our neighbors or family and that also needs to STOP!! Society should not be cut throat and we should give the other a chance to prove it….by doing that, we absolutely rise ourselves too. ♥️
Sandhya, I do appreciate your sense of commitment to the society. You've presented a valid point. Yes, what you've narrated is a tragic situation. The Government has to take the initiative to rehabilitate such people. Moreover, the public has to develop a consciousness of such a situation. The hunter's attitude...How cruel and bitter! I hope and pray that this video will be an eye-opener. Congrats, dear Sandhya!
Great initiative. As a person who used to visit Kollam Sub Jail to interact with women there, I have understood the curse of their stigma. Let us collectively discuss and plan a course of action to influence the authorities to make a policy decision for their rehabilitation and their morale boosting.I am there with you,Sandhya.
I have conducted Art therapy classes as a volunteer of The Art Outreach Society in Borstal School and Women's wing of Kakanad District Prison for over two years. I have seen the cells and interacted with the inmates and officers. The issues go deeper than that meet the eye. Please see my article on AKS.
