Abacus reminds me of Battle Axe from Deftones in a way. The slow, creeping guitar riff builds, and then it just hits. a slow heavy burn

The dark, uncanny atmospheric side of Varials is debatably better than the constant heavy, groovy headbang beatdown side.
Even still, this song is pretty damn heavy, not only lyrically.
