Im a Mohawk from Canada bin playing lacrosse since birth these traditional sticks are what we used mainly growing up because we could make them at home its very very cool to see them available for lovers of lacrosse if you love lacrosse you should get one!

Every universal head I buy is too hard to get a nice channel. I have my clutch 3 in high school spec and it has an amazing pocket but my brothers Lakota u is shallow and has no pocket it's the widened head that makes it harder to get a nice pocket. I'm thinking about the centrik in high school spec but if anyone knows universal head that can still get a nice channel. Suggestions...

Used to play lacrosse at school (in the late 60's!) so the modern sticks look really alien to me. The wooden sticks were constantly looked after. I remember being given mine by a 6th former when she was leaving. Nobody bought a stick they were always handed down through the years and much cherished and looked after by rubbing linseed oil into the wood to protect it from wet and mud. The leather thongs had vaseline and saddle soap rubbed in to keep the net supple and a bit on the gut. Also burning your initials onto it with a hot pin to join the initials of girls before you. Loved the game and played it at school county level and still have the scars! Shame we don't have it on the TV sports here in the UK and my old school apparently now plays hockey (boo hiss!) because they ran out of other schools to have matches with. What a shame.

Traditional lacrosse make nice sticks but they are a bit expensive, but they are pretty nice looking sticks

Pretty sure there legal in box lacrosse. Wood shafts are legal for hs, just not the full wood traditional stick.

Sky Bound Lacrosse that is a box lacrosse legal stick. If you wanted to buy a field stick the head is much wider to fit the specifications
