What a emotional rollercoaster, tough luck on the shot in the morning, they'll be more hunts years ahead, awesome video!!!
Wow great hunt , shows the integrity of the sportsman
Thanks for watching
This shows true sportsmanship and love for the animals to pass on an animal at the last second and still be just as happy with the experience!
Great video ……..it’s not all about the kill…….it’s the adventures along the way and the memories we keep within!!😎
Great job! Nice to look back on an awesome week of moose hunting!! #mainemoosehunting
Awesome video!
72 is a long shot, BUT, that's a veryyyyyy large animal...
Great video, let's goooo!
I agree Dennis, it is a hard position to be in. Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed
No blaze orange?
No blaze orange is required for archery hunters. Thanks for watching.
Great Hunts!! What zone was this??
I will post my video soon but check out Homestead lodge Oxbow Maine for a snippet of my archery moose hunt. It was awesome to say the least.
Passing on a legal bill with 18 min left to fill a nearly once-in-a-lifetime tag? Not me. There’s plenty of time to chase trophy moose in other places. If I ever draw in Maine, that tag will be filled.
You proved why you don’t take a 72 yd shot. The moose moved before the arrow got there. Practicing at 100 yds/confidence is a BS answer
Great video, you can make every excuse about bow hunting and practice , I am an avid bow hunter and have been for thirty years. To me the shot you took on that moose comes down to ethics on a animal that big at that distance, as well as ethics as sportsman and a little greed. Even knowing that was not a kill shot hopefully but a wounded animal at your expense. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been on many moose hunts including 2 last year in which we struck out on , but sometimes that’s better than wounding. I’ve watched many of your videos and you know what your doing. Just a little disappointed.
Understood, to each their own. Please understand this wasn't my personal hunt just filming for my cousin.
Irresponsible shot
A broadside animal at 72 is a long shot. Irresponsible, no. Practicing out to 100 plus yards build the confidence in your shot. Thanks for watching the video.
