That’s what I was thinking too.
I think if the blue heavy did actually die, the red heavy would’ve gotten the message that the host died, and he is returning to his world, due to red heavy being summoned via dark souls soapstone.

Wrath, the transformation sequence for the blue heavy is a direct reference to gurren Lagan. And also parts of the intro for the video you watched were modeled off of parts from the intro in gurren Lagan. I will say I love that anime it’s the f-ing best.
