Luckily yordle is getting nerfed! Shimmerscale is quite strong but I would recommend trying to level more aggressively. Having a combat lead means the shimmerscale one shots matter slightly less (especially with good positioning).

Zoe with full arcanist, jeweled and a shojin, boss emblem, boss 2, frontline her and watch her come back nearly at the start of every fight and she chains true damage to the whole enemy team! (eventually, as she gets kills the chain increases, its fun)
