Great video Shane 😎!! That’s an awesome driveshaft! I believe my friend installed a Ford Racing one on the T-top because it is aluminum as well 😎, so far everything has worked out great since Ive had it! Good luck at the parade brother 🫡
great example of an install video for an aluminum driveshaft. mine has one just not sure the brand, let me know how that Jegs treats you I might just have to snag one.
for the love of god let me give you some advice ... get a second or 3rd job and buy one you want the next year .. this never works out buy a pile and fixing it up it sounds fun but after 6 month it begins to sit and after 2 yrs its back on facebook market place ...bought my fixer in 2015 just got to actually drive it on the road in 2023 ...still sound FUN?
nice were back to foxbody stuff ! the other vids are ok but stangs stuff will give you the most views... i got the ford alum shaft looks just like the jegs one but probably half the cost. didnt know you can run a van drive shaft in the stangs ... remember whenever you do one thing 2 other things need to be done to do the 1 thing you wanted to do.. so a hour job turns into a 3-4 hr job ez !
@AwakeDude911 yep... classic "it's a 20 minute job" turning into 90 minutes. I'll just say that the sticker with the PN on the Jegs shaft contains part of the Ford Racing/Motorsport part number. And I agree, they look A LOT alike. The Jegs shaft weighs just a little bit more, according to Jegs site. I got this one for $335 back in January, and they are just under $400 now.
I got a police Crown Vic aluminum driveshaft in mine. I still have the AOD until I put in the T5. The AOD has the damper ring like the one you used to plug your tail shaft. I had to buy a Spicer yoke because that ring interferes. Gear wrench is love for those driveshaft bolts. I was wondering why you were putting an aluminum driveshaft in since you had aluminum already. Then I seen the damage. Have a great day G! 👊😎✌️
@BigStickStangs what year Crown Vic? Yeah... I might go get this, Aerostar drive shaft fixed. It's not that bad, but I don't like knowing it's like that.
Great job as always 89! I had a motorsport aluminum driveshaft but I think I need a different one for the t56. Not sure but I think the length is different, spline count definitely. Do the new u joints have zerks?
@SleazysGarage no zerks on either the Jegs or my Motorsport. Yeah... you'll definitely need to get it shortened up, too. Do you have any decent driveline shops nearby?
Wassup bud I was wondering can you do a video how to install the dash wiring harness thanks order dash and harness off eBay and in need of help putting it together thank !!!!
Most underrated Fox body channel. I don't see how you don't have more subs. Love all the videos. Ty sir.
@bsalabao I really appreciate that! Thank you very much, that means a lot!
@@bsalabao I agree with your statement 100%
@@BigStickStangs thanks Rick!!
@@89G absolutely true!
I want to get an aluminum driveshaft for my 92. ❤ Great install video. 👍🏼
Thank you. It's a really nice upgrade. I've had one in my 89 for about 20 years. Thanks for watching my friend!

Much appreciated! It's definitely a worthwhile upgrade for these cars. Hope you're doing well, Luis!

@kaptaincocopuff98 so far I love it. I took it out for a drive tonight after I aligned it. It's nice and smooth! Thanks for watching!
I want to get a fox body mustang and fix it up!
They are such fun cars to own!

That jegs drive shaft is a solid unit.
Hope it gives you years of service like the Aero star shaft.
@@americanmade73 it is definitely a nice piece. I am thoroughly impressed. I love that they used Spicer parts with it. Thanks!

@@89G ooo my ..think i paid $200 for the ford one and stuck it in the corner till i got the engine and trans redone...
@@AwakeDude911 nice! That's about what I paid for my Ford Motorsport one, 20 years ago.

@@BigStickStangs yes. The AOD and T5 are the same. You don't need the stupid weight on there either.
