I am a mother to 3 kids and I can't imagine transitioning from 2 parents to a single parent, even for 1 child and I'm not sharing my life on social media. So I can 100% understand and appreciate you wanting to shield yourself from the outside world while you're going through this phase of life. Hey Sophie, you are 100% right, I saw something the other day about sharing things with others. There is definitely less pressure, less outside influence, less chance of doubt being put into your mind and so on if you sometimes decide not to share things. Or if you do, like you said, maybe only share with a small group of people or share later in the process or at the end. Everyone has to do what’s right for them 🩷 xxx

In all seriousness would you please explain something to me? First love your channel and wish you were able to post more often but back to the question. I just last month went to the UK for the first time since the 80’s. My sisters and I stayed at a private home and I was so confused as to why the beds were made with no top sheet. Just the fitted sheet and a duvet. My mother was British and this was never the custom at home (US). We have a fitted sheet then a flat sheet with a blanket over that and finally a duvet or bedspread. That way when you was your sheets you was the fitted and the flat and everything else is still clean since it was either turned down or it never touched the body. I can’t imagine having to take a duvet cover off and wash it and then have to go through stuffing it all over again every week.

😅 yes, we wash the duvet cover & bedsheets every week. And have to wrestle the duvet cover back on. I have no idea why we don’t use top sheets…
