I watched this drama for Lee Jun Gi. Never knew I would end up loving Lee Soo Hyuk. Gwi has become my guilty pleasure.
Why do I feel the chemistry of Kim So Eun with Lee So Hyuk was better than the Lee Jun Ki and the lead actress? Hope to see Kim So Eun and Lee So Hyuk in another drama together as couple. Love their chemistry. Their acting was superb.

Lee Soo Hyuk played so well in this Drama. Although LJG is my ultimate favorite actor, Lee Soo Hyuk was much more interesting to watch in this Drama. His voice and features resemble the ultimate vampire!!

Soeun is always honest! So cute! lt was funny when Joongi was like "What are you talking about?" and Soohyuk was like "Oh my here she goes". LOL l'm hoping next time Soeun will be paired up with Soohyuk, in another drama, a more bright drama.

Lee joon gi acted his character out perfectly. everything was executed perfectly and he's so handsome. he's not just hit, he even looks classy and his voice is sexy as hell so I don't even know how I'm still alive after watching this. i watched for changmin and I ended up with one more crush. this drama made me lose so many hours of sleep just to finish it in 2 days
And I guess you are now watching Scarlet Heart and have lost even more hours of sleep :)

His frustated ending by killing all.. including himself..I keep watching & watching every Gwi & Queen scene...even until now .. LSH - with your deep & sexiest voice + perfect body ...make Gwi a realistic & cruel on same time romantic..& if can make more longer a romantic scene between Gwi & Queen..hemmmm...

I loved this drama. I've liked vampire stories for years. Although I was not familiar with the webtoon/original works, I thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation. I love Lee Joon-Gi and liked the rest of the cast as well. I'd willingly walk the night with him. 🥰😍

I just finished this drama because of Gwi and Hye ryeong...I tried, I really tried to like the main leads esp bcoz I like LJK in his past dramas but.... *sigh I feel no chemistry between them. But Lee Soo Hyuk, he gave his character justice just by the intensity on his eyes, don't even get me started with his voice 😍👏👏 Kim So Eun is amazing as well..I just wished that her relationship with Gwi was given more depth before she ****. That way, the viewers can even more relate to the pain & sorrow it caused Gwi.

Beautiful Lee jun ki has also starred in the sad emotional drama which is about how he loves to do the tradition Korean dance with a very nice kind mentor who can actually balance walking on the tiny thing hay road while also jumping on the it at the same time. He won the heart of the emperor but also lost the sweet freedom which he used to enjoy in the opened public. From being a happy man, he became sadder to the point he tried to take his own life. Luckily he didn't die which is good because he was saved by the doctor near by.

Personally I didn't like the female cast BUT All male actors were amazing!! lee jeung ki is legend already ♡ on the other hand Changmin really amazed me, he was great for his first period drama... and Hyuk Soo... oh Hyuk soo... he totally stole the show! not only he is sexy and beautiful but the performance of Gwi felt soooooo real, it was sublime!
He is the villain and a crazy evil killer, yet one could feel his pain and deep feelings through the whole story... I totally fell in love with him, this character was really challenging and hyuk so played it perfectly, hands down for this cast!
I just found this show after 8 months. I watch it on prime amazon but it was not out there anymore...i finally found it on youtube. I fell in love with this series. I must say they found the right men for these roles. Evn tho the actor played the scholar had the eyes and sex appeal to played. But damn good actor and character was GWi the young asian brother has the dark sexy look and voice and moves not to mention he is a beautiful model...Lawdy

I just finished the series, Lee Jun Ki was fantastic as usual, the rest of the cast were also pretty good, however I feel like the plot was very redundant. Something about the writing and the production of this drama fall apart along the way. How regretful. They got so much potential to be a great drama!

Gwi had a lot more chemistry with Lee Joon Gi than the lead actress ever did. I think the actres who portrayed the queen would have done a much better job as the lead. Yoo Bi was not at the level of Lee Joon Gi.
That's subjective . i say otherwise. I love their chemistry in this series. What level are you talking about? Level of popularity? or acting wise? She did keep up considering her quite a newbie in starring roles. Dont let your biases get the best of you.
al gold im sorry but i totally agree with the previous comment... Jung Ki is in a whole other lever of acting skills, therefore popularity... yubi may be nice and funny, but the role was too much for her... as you said she is still newbie but look at hyuk soo, he might be consider a "newbie" actor too and he suited the role perfectly! he became one with the character, and the chemistry with Jung Ki was amazing, just as this person stated.
I am not hating on Yubi but I think she was pressured by the fact of being the lead with such a recognized actor that she pushed herself to a point she was "acting" the whole time instead of really portratying a character... just sayin'
Yeah I also don't find the main girl pretty. She's ugly. The other actress made a better match and her acting is so much better.
Casting is a difficult job. But I think sometimes they probably was pressured to promote certain young actress. Anyway, for me even at the middle of watching the series, I felt that the chemistry of Kim So Eun and Lee So Hyuk was superb. I also felt that the chemistry of Kim So Eun and Lee Jun Ki at the beginning was good. So, because I felt more for Kim So Eun and Lee So Hyuk, I want to know the ending for them, but not the ending of the lead actor and actress. I wonder what I felt if I read the manga first.

I actually came here to explore the events of this drama that is one of my still favorites after I saw Soo Hyuk in Doom for your Service cause I terribly miss him so much! Terrible cause I never have hated here lol! I fell inlove with him here the first time . Came for Lee Joon Gi and have gotten Hyuk together with him in leaving! HAHAHAHA
