Well, any doubt should be gone now over Glimmer and Nikol, but with it, we got some death flags for the daddies, which I suspect for a while. Them sacrificing themselves might actually be how Nikol and Glimmer beat the term limit (according to the statues, both Nikol and Glimmer lived over 80 years, which should be impossible for anyone born to the system and even the people in the city have no idea how it was achieved.)
@@tc3969 All freeing them from the Flame Clock does is stops them from having to collect life to survive. But the soldiers still only have their 10-year life limit. This was the whole plot with Mio in XB3, despite being freed she only had 3 more months left. Glimmer and Nikol surviving longer than that was so noteworthy it was added to their statues as a feat due to how unusual it is.

I've already made my peace that they'll probably die. But I hope that they die willingly, to give Nikol and Glimmer the ability to live past 10. We already know something happens to them that lets them live till 80, so I hope it's more of a hopeful sacrifice where Rex and Shulk entrust the future to their kids before passing on. And besides, we know they aren't really dead due to how Aionios works. After Xb3 ending, they'd still be brought back to life.

Also went from wielding 3 blades with two hands, dual wielding 2 blades. Very bold to assume he ever had Limits

Imagine rex getting so into the flow of combat he instinctively throws his blade in the air for the final attack only to immediately remember that hes fighting with a Sword not a blade partner
I play on hard mode, and this fight is really a painful one. Even worse is I only have one Ouroboros Art and Skill Gem for each of them. Took me around 10 attempts to finally beat them.. The best way to control the fight is play as Glimmer, with her Affinity Growth unlocked till lvl 2 and learn the passive skills related to Healing.
took me well over 2 hours and im level 45. I finally got lucky enough to win lol. I did not really touch their upgrades all game and really suffered for it. Didn't help ive been 100%ing the game so there was no affinity upgrade kit or accessory unlock etc I could get to ease it.
It was a really badly designed gameplay choice on Monolithsofts´ part. What 300+ hours of Xenoblade 3 on hard mode taught me thoroughly was to approach an elite enemy with a team of 7 cautiously, while having an elite duo popping up in front of me made me go extra cautious. In this case you fight two elite´s with JUST TWO members of your team, locking you out of much needed DPS and Chain Attacks, only to artificially icrease the difficulty. Frankly, I was baffled, gave it around 10 genuine tries (lv41, on hard mode) only to reluctantly switch it to easy. I really don´t want to encourage them commiting to more bad gameplay choices like these, since my immersion after that was in shambles, which in turn made me enjoy the following scenes much less. 0:01
Right? I used Nikol in this fight but it was hard as hell. I targeted shulk first but the hard part was when he's defeated Rex uses infinity sword which always killed Glimmer and reduced Nikol HP nearly to 0. I kinda circumvented that using Glimmer/Nikol special when that happens and hoping that Glimmer healed me afterwards (which worked) I really felt as a big win when the batlle ended
@hakipower1 bruh this game is so easy. I played every xeno game starting with xenoblade x and i was underleveled on hard mode as a challenge and still beat rex and shulk without a problem.
Honest, never found this fight very hard. As long as you don’t skimp on collecting Affinity Points, explore enough to find every upgrade item ASAP, and don’t put all your eggs in one basket (Rex), Glimmer and Nikol should be well equipped enough to take the fight pretty easily. Just control Glimmer, spam Arts while Canceling, and perform Fusion Arts when given the opportunity, and you should be fine.

Oh hell nah they where not, both Rex and shulk used their talent art the first thing in the fight, alright and they were serious about not letting their kid face the alpha, so yeah nikol and glimmer are kinda strong, don’t forget their we’re both soldiers before so fighting isn’t exactly they are unknown to
Nah. 1st time power-up is one hell of a power-up. I mean just in the previous game Rex was going supersonic in his fight against Jin when he awakened Pneuma and then he just, doesn't do it anymore.

Pneuma no longer exists so no reality manipulation, no Monado and no Mythra means no future sight and there's no comparison between a replica Monado and a real Monado. Not to mention they've lost friends, an arm and an eye. Full power Rex and Shulk would've destroyed anyone in Aionios, no doubt, but these two aren't at their strongest (both physically and mentally).
Rex and Shulk don't want Glimmer and Nikol to come to Origin with them because they don't think they can stand up to Alpha. Understandable. But why was _Riku_ allowed to come with them from the start? He can't fight by himself at all and needs a whole other Nopon with him to match the strength of a regular soldier.
Off all battles in Xenoblade games this is the one i would have been fine with if we won the battle but lost in the cutscene. 2 kids beating the two previous main characters just kinda felt off. Even if it were their own kids….

@@bujuhhh you can beat them 4 levels under in normal. Play as Nikol, focus your attacks on Rex, and make sure the AOE attacks don’t hit glimmer with position. Nikol has skills where damage is reduced if used during enemy skills, so time it well. Use their Unity skill to just chip away at them. It’s all aggro managements

Is this really the In-game VA (voice actor)!? Why so bad, Nikol sounds like they hired a cheap lazy utube guy, and his sound is too 'old' for his character Rex sounds really off his character, he should be a leader figure, but his accent and tone really kill his character Glimmer sounds like a karen out of angry teenager room, so bad, her character supposed to be a sweet yet strong girl
Most Voice Actors in Future Redeemed are quite new to voice gaming industry. (Matthew, A, Nikol, Glimmer, Rex, Na'el) Perhaps that's the reason why sounded so bad. If you listen to it more, you'll get used to it and better a lot. Believe it or not they all did amazing job at voice acting even if they are new.
This blasphemous, occultist, polygamous, fan service filed series just doesn't know when to quit... I can't believe they are just normalizing/just going along with Rex having 3 children (now teenagers-ish) from 3 different mothers! 🤮 By the looks of that disappointing ending. I hope this is the last game in the series... Thank goodness after we are all gone this franchise won't even remain in our memories...

start with nikol, draw aggro to him, then switch to glimmer and stay inside nikol's circle while spamming healing arts

@KCP KA2 hmmm i wouldnt say its limitation but I do agree it being easier to produce. Since, some games like fe 3 houses has better facial animations but overall the game looks cool

@@MisterFath so it's a Rex case? basically their first ever VA job and people only ever seem to acknowledge the bits that they seemingly did earlier resulting in a perception of a poorer performance even though there are some perfectly decent bits that they clearly did later in the production where they've clearly had a fair bit more practice?

Why so bad, Nikol sounds like they hired a cheap lazy utube guy, and his sound is too 'old' for his character
Rex sounds really off his character, he should be a leader figure, but his accent and tone really kill his character
Glimmer sounds like a karen out of angry teenager room, so bad, her character supposed to be a sweet yet strong girl

Most Voice Actors in Future Redeemed are quite new to voice gaming industry. (Matthew, A, Nikol, Glimmer, Rex, Na'el)
Perhaps that's the reason why sounded so bad.
If you listen to it more, you'll get used to it and better a lot.
Believe it or not they all did amazing job at voice acting even if they are new.
