Should have left in the X-pipe. Better performance when the exhaust is equalized. If this truly is a muffler shop (doubtful), they would have known that. Seems like a hack shop to me.

I just don’t understand how some people don’t consider a muffler delete straight piping your car. You’re literally adding straight pipe in place of the muffler. Sure it’s not a full straight pipe from the headers back but even a muffler delete by itself is loud enough to set off car alarms. No matter if you only delete the muffler, resonator, or cat by themselves it’s still a straight piped exhaust in my opinion. But to each his own

I have a 2013 5.7 and 2005 5.7 300c, I find the 2013 to have a quiet exhaust note despite a resonator delete.. the 05 has a suitcase muffler delete and it sounds awesome - anyone that has heard both like the 05 better
