So glad you highlighted Skipper Canteen. We ate there on our trip this past Spring and really enjoyed it! Reasonably priced and fantastic menu items. Highly recommend!
If you book Sanaa for dinner, don't be upset if you get it after dark. I did with my ex girlfriend and it was by far our best meal during the whole trip... and she was a picky eater.
The Tomato Baby references the colonials trying to prove that tomatoes-a member of the nightshade fruits and vegetables-that were not native to the colonies-was actually delicious and not poisonous. So they would give their children tomatoes to eat in public to prove that point, therefore introducing it as a healthy food to eat!
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is an amazingly affordable Character breakfast that we love going to. It’s a great way to start our day before heading over to the Kilimanjaro Safari
Hey AJ! I got your guides a while back. One suggestion is maybe add a little food review by ones y'all tried for each dish! I know it's a lot of work but that would be like amazing if I could just search "insert food dish" on the pdf and bam I can read a quick blurb review if y'all liked it or not
I thought the same thing. Went twice as a young child in the 90s and early 2000s. Finally got to go again as an adult in December 2023 with the help of a travel advisor (my mom who also went with me) and now I just made the deposit for a trip in September 2025 with my wife. Never say never because I once thought it was unattainable as well.
Got a trip with my parents planned for September 2025. Have been using you guys's guides since April 2023 and will continue to do so. Also, Columbia Harbor House is one of the most underrated restaurants in Disney.
We just got back from our first trip 2 weeks ago and your tips made our trip so much easier! The Tonga toast is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and we want to go back next year!
Update: I was able to make reservations on the Disney site for Cake Bake Shop restaurant earlier this week…. I think it was Wednesday. Trip in 16 days!
I'd love to try the Cake Bake Shop for a mother/daughter tea and pastries day for Mother's Day! I know it's expensive, but for a special occasion I think it would be great.
Love all of the recommendations! A couple years back my wife was always so impressed with the restaurants that I scheduled for our family. I made the mistake of mentioning that all of "my ideas" came from AJ and DFB. Why did I do that? I have no clue 😞 Enjoyed Flying Fish this past trip. We loved the food and the atmosphere! Will return.
I asked Steakhouse 71 for the burger and they wouldn't make it for me. But I went to the lounge another night and ordered it, it is delicious! Just be warned, it is possible they will tell you no.
Happy Thursday everyone it’s excited that Disney is adding all of this new stuff it’s time for some more excitement at the Disney parks and on the Disney cruise too I just hope the 4 new Disney cruise ships don’t look the same as the Disney wish and the Disney treasure they should mix it up be a bit more creative doing the same thing all the time is a little boring to me
What are the top ten best restaurants on property? I don’t care about price; I want splurge next time I go. So far, I’m thinking Morimoto, Jaleo, Storybook, Hollywood Brown Derby plus a seat reservation for Fantasmic, and either Chef’s de France or Le Celliar
@christopherboydandmartinsc9322 Yes it is good for adventurous eaters. We just didn't feel like the price met the expectations. We did the most expensive pre fix meal which allowed us try the best of the best. It's more of a value criticism. his other restaurants outside Disney are well worth it
@@JonasBrosFan63 thank you but it was a glitch in the system & not a reservation window opening issue. Reservations (as of today) are available through 1/19/25.
We tried Skipper Canteen after several recommendations on the DFB videos and let me tell you… Yuck ! ! Party of four , each of us ordered something different so we could share and sample. The steak was ok, nothing special and the other 3 dishes were horrid. We didn’t even eat hardly any of the bad ones and wrestled for the steak til it was gone. Terrible. Cannot recommend.
The pulled pork fries from animal kingdom gave me the worst food poisoning of all time lmao half of my Disney trip was spent in my hotel rooms bathroom because of those. Never again.
Okay, I love you guys, but not once did you mention anywhere where us carnivores can be real cave men and grab a haunch of beast and parade around the parks/resorts with an emu leg. Where can we get those yummy smoked turkey legs? I know there's a fan base for them. We want to know.
LOL! Never fear, we’ve got a FULL list of all the turkey leg locations right HERE!! 🦃🍗: www.disneyfoodblog.com/2023/04/06/our-ultimate-guide-to-turkey-legs-and-every-place-to-get-them-in-disney-world/

It just so happens that tomorrow I am getting up early to make my Disney restaurant reservations for 60 day mark!
Just did that today!! The app started to glitch after a couple reservations, but the website did it no problem. Good luck!!
Did mine yesterday! App glitched for me too, had to use website
@@venusandthebull I had the same issue this morning but thankfully was able to get it to clear up and book all my reservations!😊

Did it work? Any tips?
Also AJ is so right about Garden Grill! I went a few days ago from her advice and it was my favourite!
It’s hard to top meeting Mickey Mouse when he’s wearing his OVERALLS!

Got back from my first solo trip and already planning to go back in 2025! I can't wait!
Tusker House in Animal Kingdom is an amazingly affordable Character breakfast that we love going to. It’s a great way to start our day before heading over to the Kilimanjaro Safari
This lady and her dang prime rib sliders. Every time!
What can I say? The heart wants what the heart wants 🤣
They are that good!

This has been a reassuring video! Just booked our reservations this morning and all but one are on here! So excited!🎉
Where are you going ? Which one wasn’t mentioned that you got 😀
I wish I could afford to go to Disney or universal even once is enough, but I still watch videos like this 😭 ik I’m never gonna go but it’s addictive
Never say never. There is always hope and a chance for the future
I was 36 on my first trip. Things change fast so never say never. Keep doing your homework and it will payoff for you someday.
You will go one day. I know you will ❤

Less than 30 days to ADRs and less than 90 days to Disney!!!!! Can't wait!

I’m looking forward to this one. 😉
Are the new restaurants on the dining plan?

My family and I have become huge Skipper Canteen fans after watching your videos!!
YES! It’s my FAVORITE Magic Kingdom restaurant!!
love Skipper Harbor House/ Les Halles/ Katsura Cafe/ Connections Cafe/ Yorkshire/ Major introvert over here
Me and my sister got this once and we ate it so quick 😂 6:44
I’m so excited that we were able to get a reservation for Liberty Tree during early entry for the Christmas party!
Just made my Disney restaurant reservations for 60 days out. So excited.
Satuli hotdogs are the best thing in animal kingdom!!! Soooo good!
Tomatoes are an amazing snack. I enjoy eating them like an apple with some salt.
I’m going to Disney world in 3 months❤❤❤
Epcot Germany is wonderful evertime!!!
12 days until my 5 days at Disney. I can’t wait
talk about living in the past - I'm still mourning them removing that great pork chop from Seasons in Epcot
Aja, there is no way that monstropolis will start its construction in early 2025 . My guess is late 2025.
For the English, what are hush puppies? In England they are shoes lol 😂
I’m from Canada and I know them as shoes too. Don’t think we have them here as food.
@lou4057 haha 😄 that makes me feel mote normal lol
It's a corndog without the dog basically
@@sonnybear5029 oo thank you! I’ve never had a corn dog but that does sound delicious
Is the new pirates lounge dry? Or are we getting adult beverages in MK?

We did not enjoy Jaleo, but everyone's taste is different. his restaurants outside of Disney are amazing. I'd go to Boathouse instead

How is breakfast at the Poly cheaper than a breakfast at a value resort 😂 we were just there and breakfast for 3 was $55…
yay to being chronically onliiiiineeeeeeeeee
Excited to book 1900 park fare n GF Cafe but no availability for reservations past 1/4/25 😮 are they closing???
Advanced Dining Reservations only open up 60 days before your trip!
@@JonasBrosFan63 thank you but it was a glitch in the system & not a reservation window opening issue. Reservations (as of today) are available through 1/19/25.
Im confused, I am able to make reservations through Disneys website?
Yes you can! Just click on the “Things to Do” tab and you should find “Make Dining Reservations” as one of the drop down menu options!
No Ohana?
Did you meet mickey
🏰 🌎
Do your birthday fries contain soy?
Going for 2 weeks in January, did my reservations yesterday and somethings up with 1900 park fare, it has zero availability for several weeks
And GF cafe too. Nothing past 1/4. Nervous they are closing for refurbishment.
🧡🧡
Every steak i have ever had at WDW is either raw or very well done, with a under cooked potato seems there is the only way

Aww so sorry u got sick on your Disney trip that’s awful when I go I won’t be getting those at all
I got a mother cat and three of her kittens. Somebody claimed the fourth kitten😍😺😻🐱🐈 Sorry I didn't leave a comment right after the video was released

lol too bad WDW doesn’t have buffalo turkey legs like they do at Disneyland
Yes it did. Breea sent m a reply with the link to DFB's article on all the places to get a turkey leg in WDW
Steakhouse 71 has the worst steak in all of Disney... No idea why anyone would enjoy that restaurant
Ohana breakfast and character interaction is GARBAGE! The best is Topolinos always 🥰
first lol
