    Can you see the ends of your forks when loading pallets. I hate climbing in and out of skidsteer especially with forks in the air, poor visability to rear, and the way they tear up ground. But sure love being able to see cutting edge on bucket and tips of forks.

      My 48" ones no but I have 60" forks you can see. I found back dragging to be better in the skidsteer. My buddy told me I should put a skidsteer bucket on my loader for back dragging. He found out the extra bucket length makes a big difference.

    I'm looking really seriously at this machine and I was wondering, what is the visibility like when using pallet forks? Because I'm going to be using it mostly that way in my shipping yard.
    Thank you for sharing

      When I bought my loader, they recommended buying heavy duty longer forks because it can lift so much. Instead of the normal/light duty forks. The visibility is good. I have no issues. My Kubota dealer actually uses this same machine to unload all their deliveries. Thanks for watching!

    I’ve always been interested in the small wheel loaders. I think the operators station would be a lot more comfortable than a skid steer.
    I like seeing how well you take care of your equipment, mentioning the axle straps rather than chains. Most contractors really seem to beat the life out of their equipment.
    Can you shift high/low on the fly?

      The loader is way more comfortable to run in my opinion. I do my best to keep good care of my machines. You can shift high/low on the fly. It's a button right on the joystick.

    That's good info. I actually wish I would have bought one of those instead of the SSV75 Kubota skid steer I purchased. It does what I want to do but it's really hard to see out of and you can't just hop out of it with the loader up in the air like you can on the wheel loader or tractor loader for that matter. Thanks for sharing. Great video.

      They both have their places. I just prefer the loader, it seems more user friendly in many ways to me. You're welcome and Thanks!

    Neil from Messick's posted a video of the R430. He said the hydraulics going to the bucket do not have enough flow for a harley rake or forestry mulcher. According to Kubota on their website the flow is comparable to most skid steers. Do you have any experience with a high flow attachment? I know the line on the back is for a backhoe.
    I'm considering this machine for driveway repair jobs, to replace my tractor.

    • @aldenslandscaping
      @aldenslandscaping  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not have flow to the front. If the attachment is in the range for gallons per minute the machine is rated for than the attachment will work. Some attachments are low flow compatible instead of high flow. You will have to ask dealer or look up the specs. If you want to run a lot of front attachments you would likely be better off with a skid steer. I'm now realizing I did not cover this subject in my video as I don't have front attachments.

    I have a maybe odd question. How does this machine articulate? Does it oscillate through the middle hinge or does it have a pivoting front/rear axle? Thanks.

    • @aldenslandscaping
      @aldenslandscaping  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      through the middle hinge like the larger machines

    • @billbayer5526
      @billbayer5526 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aldenslandscaping Ok, thanks. I ask because I'm making an articulating 4x4 garden tractor out of the back halves of two old Cub Cadets. On this Kubota, is the solid pivot on top or bottom?

    Did you ever consider the avant- or giant brands. Is there a cost difference? I will say kubota has a great name, probably more reliability. Thanks for any feedback

    • @aldenslandscaping
      @aldenslandscaping  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not. I've been a loyal Kubota customer for years. I'm on a first name basis with three dealers local to my home. I've owned John Deere and Case but I just stick with my Kubota products. I do read reviews, forums and watch comparison videos to/of other brands though.
