The longer I have mine, the more I like and appreciate it's looks and dynamics. This is a great first bike. I don't know if I'll ever get rid of it. Thanks for your review. I just got my Montana permanent plates.

have you use fairing normal-sized bike before? how does it compares?

@@sinistergate No. The Z125 Pro is my first bike. I don't think I'm interested in a bigger bike. I like the lightweight and small size of the Z. It gets great gas mileage around 100mpg.

Carting the bike around in a Honda fit has gotta be worth bonus points. Rock on, thanks for the video.

I just got one a couple months ago. I’ve got about 530 miles on it. It’s gotten a little louder. It’s been really fun. The only issue I’ve had is that it doesn’t always like shifting from first to second. I’ve shifted to second before and it’ll go back down to first or even neutral. Kinda scary when it happens, but manageable

Try up shifting with out the clutch. I won't hurt anything.
You will get better as time goes on. Get the rpm right it will shift perfectly.
I ran every dirt bike I've owned like that. Never an issue

Good job, bud. Great video and very impressed that you taught yourself and use your fit to take your bike.

I live in an apartment I can actually fit this in the service life and take it to my floor and park inside. Many people as about it. They are popular. $4k AUD so they are very good on price and rego and insurance. I don’t ride 2 up just ride around town when I don’t have to drive

I still have yet to see someone do a 181 power install.

Think I’ll leave it stock for my uses.

When the motor settles after breaking in they get a deeper tone. For me I wanted louder but keep the stock exhaust. The pipe has a db killer built it. Drilling it out with a hole saw gave me the sound I wanted without spending any money. Simple, easy, something we have been doing since the seventies when I started modifying exhausts

UPDATE: the shop called me back during all this and told me it was actually the ECU these bikes have been known to hit a certain amount of milage and then go out so this is a huge problem with these z125s bike was fixed for free haven't had one single problem since then

This is a late comment but I think im going to trade my Yamaha Zuma 125 in on a brand new 2023 Z125. Wondering if anyone has ridden both a 125cc scooter and a grom or Z125 and which is quicker? My Zuma is super quick but I can't cycle gears so...

Depends on where you live. In Australia yes, fully insured and registered plus you have to wear a helmet and jacket. You can get booked for that here.

It’s called a break in period.
Glad you have fun with the bike, hoping the same for myself 😂
I started on a super bike, cbr1100 blackbird, then bought two r6. Wanting to stunt my z125 krt.

    • @larryhathaway6294
      @larryhathaway6294 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I have been told that these days the break in period is not a big deal because of more precise machining so you can just go ahead and ride like you want to. Have I been mislead I am about to get a '23 Z125

@@larryhathaway6294 you will hear both arguments. And I’m sure both parties can provide evidence for their claims….
Do what you think is the smartest choice in your situation. 💪🏽 if anything goes wrong with your bike man, you have to pay for the fix not us on TH-cam.
I always chill ride during break in periods…. You could void a warranty or something.
Just never know what the companies/insurance/policy wants to cover… play it smart.
