- Hello and welcome back to The Bus!
We're back in Berlin folks with some new Mercedes-Benz goodness! Whilst there's not a massive amount of the E-Citaro vehicles currently in Berlin, BVG (The Berlin Transport Company) have a huge amount of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This update adds various 12m and 18m variants of the E-Citaro (fictional and realistic) to our game.
This bus is really nice to drive (I may mention it once or twice in the video), and I think it's a really nice update to the game. What do you think?
EDIT I did say in the video that there wasn't going to be a price increase, but have since learnt from the 19th December the price will be increasing for the base game. Sorry for misinformation folks!

11:30 the horn on Mercedes-Benz buses are located on a button at the end of the indicator stalk off the steering column as is the case in most Buses and some older cars
Looks like it runs better than OMSI, well. Anything does really, the spaghetti code is unbeatable in optimisation
Joe can you do a video talking generally about omsi, bus sim 21/22, fernbus, tourist bus, and the bus talking about their pros and cons and about what one’s you think simulates reality the best and worst? Got omsi 2 but going to be getting the newer ones and I’m not sure in general what ones feel the best.
IntercityHotel Ostbahnhof is also a decent hotel. And over the bridge they have a nice vegetarian restaurant😊 maybe I should choose the ibis next time, I like the ibis chain in general
That Ibis is really nice to be honest with you, and somewhat memorable for us now! We'll have to give the Intercity a go sometime :)

3 door e citaro bendi is an actual bus, ASEAG in Aachen have them
Also in Hamburg Hochban has them
Also 4 Doors version eCitaro exist
You’re absolutely right, perhaps I didn’t word it right, the bendy variants are fictional for Berlin, yet do exist in other cities haha 😆

Pretty disappointed in this update. The eCitaro handles really poorly, as if the tyres have no traction, and the instant power makes driving with mouse and keyboard a complete nightmare. The terrible mouse controls don’t help of course. Hopefully it improves.
Btw, in Citaros, you use electronic controls to open the driver windows on the left hand side.
