Playing it myself, the load times are not really bad at all. I'll be proud to own this version hopefully soon. Love the badass Zankuro entrance at the end, grabs his sword, takes no prisoners, intent on killing all in his way.
Watching this again, I noticed something crazy about the ending. Since you picked an alternate color for Haohmaru, the character portraits at the end, every character was in an alternate color. SNK was known for little details in games, but this, this is insanity. This is fine toothed comb type detail.
The first ever Sam Sho game I owned, but not the first one I ever played. Though the load times are plentiful (and cut out for this video) the experience of having a decent port of Sam Sho 3 back in the 90's was something truly nice. These days I own a little more Sam Sho then back then, but this copy remains in my collection (then again so has every other game I have owned since childhood).
The PS1 version is decent if you're playing a friend, and you both have the mindset to slice and dice each other, then you have no time to notice things like that. :) The load times however, there's no getting around not noticing those. The Saturn version though, can't play that 2 player as that friend no longer plays systems older than PS4 (shame really) and my Saturn only has 1 pad. And I would've loved to show this port off to him, but I have a feeling like, "oh I've seen the game before, nice port". He wouldn't appreciate how well this game runs on a Saturn.
+portalsofmadnes Most 1MB RAM cart. games also run with the 4MB RAM cart. Unfortunately there are some games who can have sprite glitches or do not load proper. (Same like with the Action Replay 4M Plus)
+iPlaySEGA!! I run 3 and 4 just fine with my Action Replay 4M+ cart, no graphical glitches in 4, no problems with this one either. But it must be the last model AR4M+ model to run it, no earlier versions.
+Bloodreign1 Good to hear. Can you test it with X-Men VS Street Fighter please? That's the game with the most Action Replay 4M+ problems. I think i own one of the older AR's.
There is Samurai Shodown on Game Boy and Samurai Spirits 3 on Game Boy Color. SS3 GBC is freezone, but only released in Japan. Never released in Europe, Usa...
MetalSonicodraco7342 : Thank you, in case you didn't notice i'm italian myself, so i should know. XD Ciao means "hi". I was just wondering wtf a single-word comment saying just "hi" is supposed to mean. To which she, appropriately, answered "eh". -_-

+Bloodreign1 And now I have it and 4 for the Saturn in my possession. Love slicing and dicing my enemies in this series.
The Japanese traditional styled BGM is so badass.

I honestly think the loading times are decent in the Saturn version. In the PSX version, they were a lot longer, and the animations were really bad.

The Weapon Flip move doesn't do a lot of damage in III.
How many Samurai showdown games are on Saturn in total?
3 Games: 3, 4 and the RPG.
Can i play this game using only my 4MB RAM cartridge???The one that i use for Xmen vs Street Fighter??
+portalsofmadnes Most 1MB RAM cart. games also run with the 4MB RAM cart. Unfortunately there are some games who can have sprite glitches or do not load proper. (Same like with the Action Replay 4M Plus)
iPLAY SEGA!! Thank you immensly for your response, really appreciate it.Im going to just buy the 1MB cart so that i dont run into those issues.

Samurai Shodown 3 : Zankurô Musôken : on japanese Sega Saturn, PlayStation, japanese Game Boy Color...
Actually it's on regular Gameboy, but with Super Gameboy enhancements, and a quality port too.
There is Samurai Shodown on Game Boy and Samurai Spirits 3 on Game Boy Color. SS3 GBC is freezone, but only released in Japan. Never released in Europe, Usa...
Both were Gameboy releases, 1 and 3, I have copies of both for my Gameboy.

Amukusa is a male but in the Anime, he is a she???
+Theshark15z Amakusa is indeed a he, the anime got it wrong for some reason.
The body is the son of Hanzo Hattori, the spirit within is a demon who has no gender.
