Thanks for the episode! Noticed you were gone last week, glad it was a vacation. Well earned, boys! Cheers. Kind of. Not the most uplifting episode, but it’s our times atm. 😢And, I have a Wii-U, ;)
I spent about 100 bucks on last moment stuff for the 360. Yeah I know there are other "options" to get games, but they are convoluted and frankly I think it's cool to own games that were solely exclusive to the 360 itself like the two South Park games.
I'm in for a copy of Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. I have a buddy who is/was a legit master at Starfox 64 single player. He could easily get the medals on every stage. I was not as successful. Multiplayer was different though. We were probably 50/50 in the wins/loss ratio. As far as multiplayer games I'd choose... Mario Kart 8 (and/or Deluxe) Any Madden from 2005-2008 and maybe a random party game like Fuzion Frenzy on the OG Xbox This list seemed easier when I asked you guys about it, but thinking about my own list was tough as heck.
@@Drinkabeerandplayagameofficial I love the Defect but my win rate is pretty low with him for some reason. I'm leveling each character in Ascension mode one level at a time so they're all the same. I can usually get a level done with Ironclad and Silent in like 3-5 runs but Defect can take 20+ sometimes.
I ended up with 423 games and 3 demos on the digital platform. I started out physical when I bought the elite but when the arcade started picking up speed and I could get $40 games for $20, how could I say no. Also $5 a month for at least 3 years got you 2-4 games a month to own for free. Miss the 360 experience. Wish I could get brand new controllers for it and I’d play it more.
Still amazing I think really just how long overall of a life the XBOX 360 had now it really is over for it. I mean I never expected it to or MS to give a damn about it enough to keep its store going for this long as it is.
The sale was terrible. Everyone thought there was going to be a real sale. All the kinect and Microsoft created gamed were not put on sale. They didn't give everyone a heads up there wasn't going to be a real sale or else I would have bought more stuff on the marketplace beforehand.
Thanks for checking out this episode, make sure to listen to the whole thing to get in on that giveaway

My man, we will announce next week

Yeah those South Park games are cool, I regret not getting Scott tenorman myself
Jim after STS if you are looking for another deck builder Monster Train is also addicting!
I’ll def be looking into that
Episode 269. Nice! Keep up the great work boys
Thanks bud 🍻
Speaking of bread. Golden Corral has awesome rolls. They’re delicious 🤤 Great episode like always guys!
Ah I haven’t been to one in ages

First time anyone has mentioned fusion frenzy in about 20 years, I respect it
Congrats on getting addicted to Slay the Spire, Jim. I'm up to three characters at Level 13 Ascension mode and the other at 12. I'm at 520 hours.
Hooooooly hell that’s impressive. I’m up to like 40 attempts just trying to beat the cursed heart the first time with the defect

The series s and x controllers are amazing in comparison to the already great 360 controllers.
I hear the series controllers are amazing, the ONE controllers felt like a downgrade
Hey ya won the giveaway, hit us up at drinkabeerandplayagame@gmail.com with where to send it
Weird enough, i picked that time to plug in my Xbox One, and it seemed dead on arrival. Had a brief panic, but that day is coming.
Haha wild, but yeah it’s just a precursor to the end times
Things are not the same with gaming. No more E3, that was a summer tradition. Gameinformer isn’t around anymore. It sucks
Internet destroyed all tradition
@@JMS103 there's no more E3???
What?! Game informers leaving too??
Yup, RIP
To level the playing field you guys should play Diddy Kong Racing instead of Mario Kart
Good call, I’ve maybe spent 30 minutes ever playing that
@@Drinkabeerandplayagameofficial can you believe Nintendo created the Mario Kart killer and then killed it 🤣

For real, what a stalwart

Only good thing is most Kinect games can be found easily at thrift stores outside of DBZ and Steel Battalion
