Hello everyone. I just saw them and they are touring with ELO. They are amazingly great. Rooney is one of the bands leading the way for alternative music. I became instantly a fan and I will follow them. They were electrifying. They are awesome in my humble opinion!!!!!!!!
I grew up with Rooney, so it was a little disheartening to see people's reaction at the concert. The guys behind me were actively disparaging them. Glad you enjoyed them!
I want to do a deep dive into why this band doesn’t appear to even be friends anymore. Taylor doesn’t follow Robert on Instagram and vice versa. I wish they would reunite one day. This Rooney line up had undeniable chemistry!
I want to as well. I met Robert once and should've asked him. I know there were issues with Geffen but he must have the rights to the name bc he continued on with a whole new lineup now. Probably creative differences since he wrote all the songs (until "Eureka", which you could tell would be their last together) and Ned and Taylor went on to release their own music.
Obsessed with this song so many years later!
yes!
such a great song
I will always thank The OC for this!

We just saw them in Dallas open up for ELO! One of the best bands I've ever seen in concert EVER!
lead singer rocking that haircut makes him look like the 'lad' from the starburst commercials "i'm a little lad who loves berries and cream".
man...they killed it!!!! Found them in the OC and bought their CD for my daughter. (I been secretely listening ever since...shhhhh)
I remember seeing their band poster in a scene in Cohen’s room and I was like “ I have to look them up” Fan ever since!!😊

i often wonder myself what happened to them.....they were such a tight group musically speaking
They’re playing in LA next month with coconut records. Robert’s brothers band. Got my tickets already
@@danielhuizar8585 is it with the original members? Or just Robert?
They should have hit it bigger than they did. Songwriting was great.
Man they were so good back in my teen days. ... And still are
Love this band's sound.
Ric's Guitar! Rooney still holds up, great music!
I just heard this in a Five Below...I had to come back and rock out.
2024 present!
what a performance! great energy!
Jason Schwartzman’s little brother
Derk no way dude. The whole Phantom Planet Is Missing album is great !
So fast. So good
That pink guitar reminds me of one that Ric Ocasek of The Cars used to play. I think Ric and Elliot both had pink guitars.
Schwartzman borrowed Ocasek's Jazzmaster for a few years 🎸
There are a perform of them on Pepsi Stage, so good, singing Popstars. Do somebody have?
👌🏼
lead singer kinda looks like faye webster
☺️💯🙌🏽
don't usually get that much bass in a tv mix.
Good band ... the singer held them back. The lead guitar player rocks and he has a good sound.
whats wrong with the singer? he sounds fine here
Can’t say I agree - I thought the vocal performance sounded good and very close to the album
Singer sounds quite good. Very Paul Weller.
With that singer they should have called the band Crooney.
Ah 2003. Back before Americans were obese.
Brit pop is superior to this
