I had a similar situation growing up except the age gap wasn’t that wide. I was 14, he was almost 20. Never looked at it in the way you titled the video but I guess you could say I fell in love with my rapist too. I never understood it at the time but as an adult reflecting back on my life I understood why my cousin’s bf at the time called him “Piper” as R. Kelly used to call himself the Piped Piper. That situationship (as I refuse to call it a relationship now) was filled with nothing but pure control on his end, physical fights and lots of sex. Him even introducing me to oral sex (he did it to me first & wanted me to do it back to him) this went on for 5 yrs. I’m glad I got out and was able to look back at my life and see that that was VERY INAPPROPRIATE. I have a baby girl now and I would RISK MY LIFE to prevent her from what I went through!!
Edit: oh yea I heard he has a son now too, I can only pray that the little boy becomes *nothing* like him!

These things very common and a that's why mi tek a oath seh when me get my children and me and the woman somehow separate then the children stays with me! Time again we see women can't protect the children! and a the father's get the blame same way when them fail so might as well.. also studies overwhelming show that single fathers do better than single mothers when raising children
Hi Tylor! You are so correct that this is popular amongst majority of Jamaican women. I was sexually molested by 3 different men by age 10. 2 were family members and the other was a Deacon at my church. The forst 2 times it happened I told an adult and I was blame for it that my mind is dirty. When it happened the 3rd time I didn’t tell anyone about it because I didn’t want to be yelled at again. In high school majority of friends shared same/ similar story. Personally, I don’t know a Jamaican woman who didn’t experience this. It’s very sad.
