If the University did not want people walking on their grass, they should erect a fence at the back edge of the sidewalk and post 'Private' notices every 50 metres. The cops are stupid to think they can turn up whenever anybody sets a foot on the grass.

Notice how when the cameraman gets on the sidewalk they don't treat him like a member of the public. The rest of the public can be on the sidewalk but not him.

These College cops should really take some classes at this college. It receives funds from the US government each year, thus making the University PUBLIC PROPERTY.

He would probably need permission from the university to carry that sign and protest on their property, but once he was told to stay off the property by that cop and he clearly was, that should have been the end of it...saying he was "blocking" the sidewalk was opinion, not fact...if someone was walking through and he didnt move out of their way AND the cop witnessed this he could cite him and write out an appearance ticket.
He can't just ASSUME the person will deliberately impede anyone on that sidewalk
Even if the cop got a call complaint, its purely heresay unless the complaint accompanies the cop and points him out as the offender.
Otherwise, the cop can only do a prefunctionary investigation and warn him not to do it...a second complaint can result in further actions being taken against him.
I have no idea what is going on happen in next year and I will assume it will be horrible, that said we will see things that make the past few years look like a great time.
These bootlickers are going to find out what side they are on and I can say they won’t be on our side.
Remember who they are and hopefully we will get some type of accountability.
