Oswald probably did lose his arm because of how much damage was inflicted to his arm. Also even if it could heal, they might amputate it because of infection to the injury

I think the ball pit should be the SCP and what happened when Oswald went in would be what would happen if you went in? Like maybe the pit detects you being different from the others and Spring Bonnie will pose as someone close to you and attempt to get into your timeline. Maybe Spring Bonnie would be tied to the pit, so even if you get rid of him if someone else goes in it creates a new timeline with a new Spring Bonnie?
