George Harrison! Paul sang it at Georges Concert Tribute....Google and Wiki are really good for background info! Nice instrumentation too! BUT the lyric correctly is " ....it isnt always gonna BE this gray..."

This is the version that Paul did at the Concert for George.
It’s the same song that Paul (and John) rejected three times in 1967-1969 as a Beatles track. Rest In Peace, George, never mind.
They absolutely did not reject it in 1969. They tried to record it with George in the Let It Be sessions but he thought it wasn't ready
@@voidsabre_ Listen to those recordings, how sloppy they were. If John and Paul wanted to record a song, they simply did it, they never “tried” anything. Many songs from George were disregarded in that period: he proposed the songs to the others members, and they simply jammed them out without any real intention to record them seriously. The song was ready, George recorded a splendid solo version that day in February, as a self birthday present.
