- Our first van life experience in Custard! We finally got on the road and had a taste of the life we had always been dreaming of in our very first van conversion. We headed to France via the Eurotunnel le Shuttle and saw some pretty amazing places. Welcome to our brand new series!

Have you considered getting an electric dry flush toilet? It makes things SO easy. They are a little costly, but are worth it!

Hello. I loved this. I watch your newer videos that are so slick and where your van is immaculate and has everything but to be at the beginning is great. I have just got a 1970 VW Campervan (and I am a pensioner) and it has nothing and I have no storage, water, kitchen or electricity. This helps me see that things can get done slowly. I will watch on from here and see how you progress. You both make me laugh so much.

That's so amazing guys! Doing exactly what you're doing has always been our dream! We couldn't afford even a cheap van so got a Mini Cooper instead 😂Packing is always tough be we still love road trips in it! Really interested in how you guys go with the bus and how you find places to park it and sleep, and how you find that it holds up under lots of miles. Lots of love from Nottinghamshire! 🚌💨

We're finding out feet with her at the minute - I mean, Craig hadn't even driven her properly before we set off on this massive road trip! haha
To park we use an app called park4night - it's pretty good but not always correct!
She's a great drive but guzzles the diesel and it's not the cheapest here in Europe!
Thanks guys - don't let the dream of one day getting a van pass you - it can be done - we believe in you!!!
I like what you did to the bus, excellent job, we did the same trip but in something, smaller, a lot smaller, a Fiat Doblo, not the best, but fun. Now we have a Vivaro self build and that's great, now into our 4th year, just waiting for the world to wake up from this nightmare and then we are off again from our base in Portugal.
I refreshing video from the usual stuff and that bus, yeah a real nice job hope you enjoy it for many trips.
