You can use calipers to measure difference of either side of sight if you want. That would work best if point of impact was lined up with center line of gun. Typically it is not, but sometimes it is. I usually eyeball them in close to center and adjust rear sight to point of impact.
I ordered some meprolight sights for my USP compact. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box. The sights look a little discolored. Not sure if this is normal. But hesitating to replace the sights now. The stock sights on my USP are shiny black. The meprolights look like a faded black.
Most likely your new sights have a different finish. Be sure to drive your sights in and out the correct direction also remove material from bottom of sight with sand paper to fit. Should only have to tap the sight to move it.
Thank you. It’s been a while since I installed sights on HK’s. Reference sight packaging to see compatibility though. Sorry that’s best advice I’ve got. Make sure you drift sights correct direction if installing yourself.
He's punching sights in... you saw which direction the sights are to be removed/installed in... the sanding is implied by the sound of...sanding. What exactly do you guys need to see?
What do you use as a reference point for centering the front sight on a USP slide? Or are calipers the way?

the question immediately arose, isn't it easier to make these night sight tags on the factory front sight and rear sight?
Not sure what you mean by tags. To have night sights it requires replacing factory sights, or the gun comes stock with them.
Would those sights fit in a usp45 expert?
Hey nice Video :)
Can i use same sights on the hk45 and usp or what other Pistol sights fit into usp ?

I actually just want to know about the AC vent in the back , can’t find a solution for my garage and can’t use a mini split . Any info on that ?
It’s an exhaust vent for fumes. Kinda slapped together from Home Depot parts and an exhaust fan.
@@JwRainmaker nice man, I thought you extended an AC vent 😂.
Does that rear sight drift out the same direction on any USP?
Yes drift towards opposite ejection port.
This video is useless if we cannot see what you are doing! Get a camera operator.
Sorry dude it wasn’t intended as a how to, but I’ll be glad to redo the video and help you with your sight install.
@@JwRainmaker That is a weak response John. Come on dude. Why not just have a dark screen with hammering sounds? Slow clap bro.

John Nelson. You must be simple minded if you didn’t grasp what to do.
Shouldn’t ever have to sand down a sight to get it placed.
I went to Lassen Community College majored in Gunsmithing. Do you have a degree in Gunsmithing?
You've clearly never installed sights on a pistol.
@@nexusone5584 who me, or PNW Sportbike Life?
@@JwRainmaker PNW Sportbike. Iv had to hand fit more sights than not. Dudes a clown.
You probably only installed Glocks sights lmao
