    I just have to say, that way to lock two flaps together is fantastic! It’s really something special, a revolutionary new origami design tool! It gives a new meaning to “raw edges.” I’ve been playing It and getting some really cool results. So thank you! It’s genius!

    Folded it and worked like a charm! Great work, as usual!
    Just one question: why some of the connections are folded in half (9:03)? These connections turned out weaker to me.

    • @jonakashima
      @jonakashima  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      this fold in the connector is what really locks the units together. Once connected, this fold and the fold from the other unit will block each other from moving away. They should be as strong as the big ones; a weak connection usually happens if you invert the fold in some of the connectors, make sure they are folded to the right direction

  • @Nick-tl7tb
    @Nick-tl7tb 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I've seen this model before on an origami article I read! Although there were many more modules than this one, and it could change four directions! Overall this one looks and works better! Great job Jo! Keep up the great work!

    On all the videoes with cubes, it has always been a bit hard for me, when you connect the 2 ends with eachother, when you make 1 cube. When you put end and top together and push a Little, then mine doesnt come all the Way up to the top, and om thinking it’s because of the mg of my paper.
    How thick is the paper that you are using to make the cubes?
