Expert tip: If you are going to do some double handing and single handing sailing, try to find a boat WITHOUT running backstays, specially when is blowing

What happened to the Hoyt spinnaker gun mount? I had two Freedoms and single-handed gybing (and dousing) was quite easy.

Covid's requirement? When did it gain sentience?! If you enjoy sailing solo, sail solo: you don't need to make excuses.

Learning a multistep process. No one comes out of the womb walking, talking and reasoning. The filming showed my first attempts to learn how to jibe an asymmetrical by myself. I tried to take everyone through my learning process.

@@UK-Sailmakers-International And that part of the video was great. I think every sailor should learn to single hand, and every sailor should learn to work as part of a crew: both sides of the sport will make you a much more proficient sailor and I hate that many crew sailors refuse to solo sail. And if you find you prefer solo sailing (there are certainly days when I just want to be out on the water alone) I tell my friends "sorry, today I'm putting this time aside for myself". I don't use excuses like "sorry, the government says we can't until they say we can". Nothing infuriated me more than people who thought an outdoor sport where 4 man teams ON SEPARATE BOATS should be shut down to "slow the spread"! But people like you went along with the absolutely illogical bull shit!
My problem was with you blaming it on Covid: Covid didn't cause any of the "requirements": politics caused the "requirements", and you seized on that as an excuse. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you used the time the world was shut down to improve yourself in at least one way, but we didn't need to shut down the world for you to learn to sail solo!
This was the point of my comment.
