London 2017 was the ninth edition of the World Para Athletics Championships and marked the first time the event was held back-to-back with the IAAF equivalent. From 14-23 July, around 1,300 athletes from 100 countries took part, contesting 213 medal events.
The International Paralympic Committee's vision is to make for an inclusive world through Para sport. Our mission is to lead the Paralympic Movement, oversee the delivery of the Paralympic Games and support members to enable Para athletes to achieve sporting excellence.

When that guy fell down my eyes shed tears.... By god's grace our bodies are intact, yet we are disabled from mind and thoughts...and these athletes are physically disabled but yet strong in the mind... we fight for ego and unnecessary things... they fight for survival and bring glory to their countries.... They are way better than me, I feel I'm disabled, they are not.... I'm ashamed of myself..... Salute to these people!

Running 100m in 12 seconds is amazing . Even people with proper legs can't do that with training

Salute to all runners specially Mahlanga who finish to cross his lane, I remember my childhood sports as a track and field player it was really great until one day I’ve got injured in my right ankle and can’t run anymore… I really missed my sports, maybe one day miracle happen and I can run again even just for exercise…
