Yes it could have been because we'd been debating to go to our parents graves to remove christmas decor or wash the car, luckily Dean chose to wash the car so we were home when it happened. I do feel sad for the fish because they'd likely have been saved had it happened in the day. Hopefully I'll have seen the back of disasters for a while. Oh dear, Maria! You haven’t had a good week. I think we’ve all had times like that. In 2011 we had so much rain that everyone’s basements were flooding. We lost our entire basement drywall and carpeting. Had all that repaired. The same thing happened again in 2014! We had 7 1/2 inches of rain in just over a week. We saved the drywall but lost the carpeting. Never put it back down again. We had to have a sump pump put in our backyard. Drilled a 14 foot deep hole and the pump sits in a bucket to protect it. It’s saved us a few times! I can’t wait for the nicer weather so I can hang my laundry on the line! Too much snow now. Hopefully by the end of February the snow will start melting. I hate using my dryer! ❤️🙏🏻😊🇨🇦
That must have been terrible happening once, but to have it happen again must have been devastating. Do you get any flooding when the snow melts? I love to see washing hanging on the line, it seems so much fresher. I can't wait to hang mine out too. Thank you for watching 😊
No. Not when the snow melts. The ground is dry so absorbs the water, and because the air is so dry a lot just evaporates. I love hanging laundry on my line. I’m the only one that does it in my area! I love crawling into bed and smelling the fresh air on the sheets. Better than a sleeping pill! Lol ❤️🙏🏻😊

I know, and it's only Wednesday! I won't dare get out of bed tomorrow 😂 I feel sorry for the fish, we could have saved them if it'd happened during the day. What a week you have had my washer decided to give up the week before christmas had a new one delivered on the 14th still not plumbed in as they are modernizing the kitchen which was started on the 14th still not finished yet the decorator hasn't turned up either I'm so fed up at the moment plus my uncle died on Monday night he had battled Alzheimer's for 17yrs at least he is no longer suffering that awful illness. Hope things get better for you ❤
I'm really sorry to hear about your uncle, my condolences go to you and your family. I hope you get your kitchen sorted soon and your washer up and running, I can understand how fed up you must be feeling. Oh God bless you if it's any comfort we've had the same first my vacuum packed in new part is £69 then all the electrics tripped and left us in the dark it took ages to work out what was causing it it turned out to be when I'd flooded the kitchen sink and water had got into the plug socket so had to wait for it to dry out then the TV packed in it's only 18 months old so that's another expense then the conservatory roof leaked and flooded the conservatory needing the seals to be replaced 🙄 it most definitely isn't just you but hopefully things will get better for you now 😊

Hi love a couple pof week ago we had no hotwater something had gone on the heating boilerthe plumber came last tuesday and put a part on it so we had hot water then later on my son said mum phone the plumber so i did he had to get the part again as he said sometime the parts faulty he came monday and he couldnt get hot water so he went and said ill have a think about it and get back to you so no hot water yester day and low and behold i turned the tap on this morning and we have hot water again love fran xxx

Hi Maria thanks for replying the message I sent basically went sorry to hear about your disasters especially the fish and that another alternative to replace them was to buy a jelly fish lamp they are so calming and change Color’s they are only about 20 pound from Amazon I loved mine you could stand it on your worktop whilst cooking that’s what I did the other thing was I buy rechargeable batteries which are good cause you only have to recharge them and my disaster was I tried to melt a candle on my stove and boiled it dry my smoke alarm went off there was smoke everywhere I had to call my ex husband who brought my son round he had to pull the smoke alarm off the ceiling it wouldn’t stop all because I was trying to save money I got upset and felt like a fool but he solved it wot do that aqain In future I’ll just buy one oh and where you doing anything for valentines either baking or celebrating and happy new year I think that was about it hope you get this message Maria ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻😊
