"The first time I ever really listened to Kyle Kulinski’s show was in the back of a cab last summer. The driver had his phone hooked up through the stereo and was pumping out an episode through the car speakers - loudly, as if looking to convert a captive audience.
“Do you like Kyle Kulinski?”
The driver, Ahmed, was a recent immigrant and apparently a die-hard fan of Secular Talk, the political talk show that Kulinski broadcasts on TH-cam. I told him, yes, in fact. I do like Kulinski, had come across his show several years ago, and, all things considered, he seemed pretty good.
“He understands what we’re up against,” Ahmed said. “Like Bernie.”
But I was surprised to hear Kulinski’s name mentioned in the same breath as Bernie Sanders, particularly with such adoration. Because what I did remember about Kulinski’s show struck me as mostly capital-P “progressive” takes on the news - the left wing of the Netroots crowd more than the democratic socialism Sanders has popularized.
It’s an impression that wasn’t entirely incorrect.
“I have no time for philosophical, airy bullshit,” Kulinski tells me from his home in Westchester, New York. “I don’t want to hear about Lenin. I don’t want to hear about Marx. I just want a super plainspoken, straightforward agenda with a straightforward way of selling it.”
With over 800,000 subscribers and nearly 670 million total views on TH-cam, selling a progressive agenda is clearly something Kulinski knows how to do - even Democracy Now, the long-standing flagship of progressive media, cannot match his reach on the platform. Chapo Trap House can certainly boast a wildly devoted fan base (and a not insignificant degree of media influence), but their audience is roughly half the size of Kulinski’s.
While Secular Talk might be more likely to be looped in with the progressive networks around Air America and Pacifica alums like Sam Seder than the more resolutely socialist world, Kulinski’s fiery rhetoric, razor-sharp class instincts, and knack for withering takedowns sets him apart from his peers. Judging by his rhetoric alone, he’s closer to a Eugene Debs than a Chris Hayes.
But unlike Hayes, Amy Goodman, or his friend Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks - who began airing Secular Talk on his web network seven years ago - the thirty-two-year-old Kulinski is virtually invisible in the mainstream media. Despite his enormous fan base, his show has never once been mentioned in the obligatory trend pieces on “the Millennial Left” pumped out by the prestige media. Nor has Kulinski’s name ever popped up at all in the New York Times, Vox, the New Yorker, New York Magazine, or the Washington Post, despite his leading role in cofounding Justice Democrats, the organization widely credited with sweeping Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of “the Squad” to power.
Just last week, his Wikipedia page was deleted. The reason? “There is very simply no [reliable source] coverage of this person,” according to one moderator. In new media, he’s king - the Sean Hannity of the Berniecrat left. In old media, he’s nobody.
I suspect there are a few reasons for that. There is nothing “cool” about Kulinski’s show. (As a friend put it, “‘Welcome to Secular Talk’ sounds like something you’d hear on Egyptian radio.”) His no-nonsense social-democratic politics won’t get him much cred with the Full Communism crowd. He records his show not in Brooklyn or Los Angeles, but in a studio he built himself in his modest Westchester home. His hair is too groomed and his taste in clothes too preppy to qualify as “Dirtbag Left.” Nor has he ever attended an n+1 release party. “Not only have I not attended one,” he says, “I have no idea what that means.”
And yet he’s astonishingly plugged-in for a young man in the suburbs. Wondering how Sanders ended up on the Joe Rogan Experience? Kulinski, a frequent guest on Rogan’s wildly popular show, introduced them. “You make the most sense to me,” Rogan told Kulinski on a recent episode. “You’re a normal person.”
Much like Sanders himself, Kulinski’s show has a massive audience that just doesn’t compute with our media’s understanding of “what the kids want” or even “what the left-wing kids want.”
It’s probably for the best - the very woke and very WASP-ish decorum haunting much of the media world is nowhere to be found in Secular Talk. “Corporate Democrats over-focus on identity as a trick to divert you from the issues that unite us all - class issues,” he said on a recent episode.

I'm 73, will soon be 74. I have no idea who was behind the murder of JFK. But I know one thing. I grew up on a working ranch, using guns all my life. I've seen a lot of animals shot a lot of ways. I've seen reactions, delayed reactions, counter reactions, and more. The first time I saw the Zapruder film, I said, "The head shot came from the front." I heard the FBI's explanation of why we see what we see on the film, and I don't believe any of it. I also heard the number of times it took for FBI sharpshooters to finally do what they said Oswald did, and none of it included a bullet to the head from the front. Lastly, there is no rational justification for concealing what's in those files for all these years, and continue to do so, unless there is something in there which would so enrage the country that chaos would ensue. The limousine slammed on the breaks just before the kill shot in the kill zone marked by yellow paint on the curbs. Evidence of the breaks being applied can be seen as the police motorcycles on both sides of the limo suddenly advance and begin to overtake the limo with both officers unaware of the limo’s planned breaking in the kill zone. The officer on the left rear of the limo was soaked with blood and brain matter while the officer on the right had zero splatter. A physical impossibility that a bullet from the right rear “sniper’s nest” would drench the officer on the rear left with blood and brain matter. The most important pieces of forensic evidence of bullet/blood splatter trajectory are Jackie O’s suit and John Connoly’s shirt and suit. Jackie’s suit is off limits and Connoly’s suit was conveniently laundered! The chain of custody on so many essential items was allowed to be non existent. Even The Magic Bullet has zero relation to the murder site and zero chain of custody. Im 75yo. I was a very active JFK researcher in the 1990s and published an article now deemed a classic and now available on the Net that you might find interesting. I can't remember the exact title. Google my name and add the terms: JFK Assassination CIA Silencer Weapons. I proved the CIA had silencers for rifles and thus had the ability to distort ballistic evidence such that the number and nature of shots could never be resolved. My aim , pardon the pun , was to get folks away from chasing their tails in Dealy Plaza and to start looking at the Deep State.
All of the JFK assassination files should be released to the American public and should be unredacted.

Oh, if you only knew all that I uncovered doing research reading after action reports for WW2 about Truman/FDR and all they did during the war and Truman did at the end and after. My father a former Marine sergeant and Korean War veteran and I were watching CBS and to kill time a cameraman filmed up the ramp to street level. I turned to my father and said, Dad there are no police guarding the ramp outside! The cameraman got back in position just as Oswald emerged with officers on each side holding his arms exposing his chest. Jack Ruby walked right up and shot him in the chest from about 1 foot away. My father turned and looked at me and said, I don’t believe it son you just predicted what happened!

I’ve been obsessed with the JFK assassination for years!! I was in 2nd grade and our teacher brought in a black & white TV and had us watching it. They probably shouldn’t have done that, but they did, and I didn’t understand what was really going on, but when I got home, my mom and grandma were crying, and I knew why then. Sad day in history.

I was eight. I was convinced when they murdered the lady reporter in 66 (I think), but became very sure when I read "None dare call it a conspiracy" in my Junior year of high school. I've been a vocal theorist and student of gov't criminality ever since. To the point that after the first airliner hit the first tower, (at that time, it looked real to me) on 9/11, I told my friend "our gov't did that". Which made him mad at me, for a while until the proof stacked up so high, he had to admit I was right. As an aside, the word "conspiracy" means two or more people planning to or committing a crime. Conspiracy doesn't mean a thing about "wrong".

After the interview, she didn't tell friends what Ruby had said, but did say "In five days, I'll blow this case wide open." Several days later, she was found dead in her New York apartment, from a toxic mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol. All her writing and notes on the JFK assassination had disappeared from her apartment and were never found. Because Kilgallen knew that two journalists who were investigating the JFK murder had been murdered in 1964, she gave a copy of the chapter she'd written about the JFK case to a friend. A few days after Dorothy was found dead, the friend was also found dead. The chapter Dorothy gave her was never recovered.

There was so much doubt about the Warren Report's story line that most never accepted the conclusion that Oswald was the "lone nut" assassin. So the CIA, anxious to keep the conspiracy and their role in it from being fully revealed to the public, waged a campaign to try to convince people that so-called "conspiracy theorists" were actually nuts.

If JFK’s murder was from our own government and Trump doesn’t want to talk about it, presumably because of what might happen to him, then why is Trump fighting so hard to be re-elected so he can drain the swamp and clean up all the corruption in our government? Whatever is in the files must implicate all political factions and undermine faith in the U..S government broadly speaking. This is why all Presidents / Parties have refused to disclose. My guess is that a faction of the CIA conducted the assaination at the behest of national security interests. So the 'conspiracy` to assasinate was confined, but the financial beneficiaries were the great majority of the military industrial complex. Therefore, it was always in the interest of those in power to conceal the truth. Remeber, JFK had directed the Joint Chiefs of Staff to remove all military presence from Vietnam less then 30 days before his murder.
This is also why Trump was just targeted, because he promised to end the war in Ukraine, which benefits the same military industrial complex that benefitted from the Vietnam War. But Trump had to be targeted before the convention, before he named a VP. This would have allowed the defense industry interests to handpick their own nominee at the convention who supported the continuation of the war. In this scenario, they could not lose because both parties would then support the interests of the defense industry.

No, as I recall, he met with the CIA Director, fellow Catholic John McCone,, and asked him and said that McCone denied it and took an oath on something he believed meant he wasn't lying. But that wouldn't have meant much to RFK, as McCone wouldn't have had any idea if there was involvement. The 'likely suspects' would not involve him.

I agree. It is the best book on the subject. The author makes no claim without documentation. Anyone that still believes the Warren Commission hasn't read a book and in particular this book.
Crossfire, by Jim Marrs, is also excellent. Interesting since it goes into the history (since WW2) of those who wound up involved by Nov '63. Tons of details, photos. i.e. We know many who had any foreknowledge wound up dead within a short time. There are PAGES of these ppl. The history of govt involvement w the underworld, going back to WW2.
