Yeahhh. For me, it's like a mix of 2nd generation gg. I can hear little bit of T-ara, Sistar, F(x) and Kara in the whole song and of course this is my type. Because I really miss them. Suddenly, SN appear and it's like a cure for me.

If you like them, great, but please don't make statements which are going to show record labels that a minimal amount of inclusion is good enough. @@BlackStarSymphony Perhaps they meant global in the sense that there are nationalities and ethnicities other than just Korean in the group, therefore identities from other places on the globe or around the world in the sense that you have to go around the world to get to those other places. If they didn’t mean that then this is probably as global kpop groups will get for a long time. There have for sure been black kpop idols, I can say, but of course there aren’t any in this group.

This comeback is better than the debut. To be honest even tho Dita is the main dancer I think her most impressive trait is her voice and her timbre, while Jinny seems to be growing as a rapper but her best performance so far has to be in "Privacy". I have high expectation from both given their background, one as a 1 Million dancer and all the rest and Jinny being a YGE trainee that was supposed to debut with freaking Blackpink. Denise (yeah, another YGE trainee) is owning the pre-chorus while Lea and Soodam seemed to have more of a support role. Definiltely Dita's era for me.

I appreciated your play on words on Soodam's name and it would have landed nicely including "nice" or "good" at the end! 😉 I don't have a particular favourite in Secret Number really but as I said I found that Dita's impact on the comeback is quite strong. I too found strange that at least Lea being the leader didn't have much of a role this time around. Anyway at the end of the day the abilities of groups' members are all at the service of the song, if the song is successful they all are.

Her tone is so nice and refreshing, like you said pd, If Dita has a soulful voice, then Denise invented soul itself
when dita started the song, i immediately thought it was jennie who was singing. i can't further explain why did i think it was jennie but dita's tone is quite similar to hers. of course dita is a great singer on her own, but yeah, she reminded me of jennie, especially how she sang the first verse

Her experience singing in many places and concert make her better vocalist. Trainee < professional. Secret number got my attention from the debut but I was TOTALLY impressed by this, after listening to the debut I didn't expect this masterpiece! Very very refreshing
What I like about SN is that each member is easily recognized and distinguished. I've seen a lot of content from them and I love the fact that their company literally let them be themselves despite the fact that they just debuted coming from a small company they aren't afraid to showcase their real personality. I need to appreciate vine ent for giving them the best that they can with the outfits, MV, promotions, even their songs are written and composed by such amazing people.
They even let jinny put her name as co-writer on got that boom for their first ever comeback. That is how vine ent respects them as artists.
What I like about secret numbers is that each member has a contrast vocal color.
That's why each of these groups sing is always good to hear for me, especially when they cover songs like No.1 by BoA.

Denise and Dita really stand out because of their voices. Denise has a really Powerful, Soulful voice it has so much color. And Dita has a Deep, husky voice that when she’s singing strong, it sounds amazing. The final chorus is so explosive and hyped partly because you have Dita singing the chorus with her husky voice, Denise’ powerful voice belting above her, and the other members chanting with their higher pitched voices. It gives the ending so much power and momentum (so much so that i almost hoped it ended like that without the gimme gimme that part). This song blows my mind how well it was put together. ✨P e r f e c t i o n✨ ❤️

Dita's vocals are so satisfying as hell to hear, too. She's the second deep voice during the chorus. The girl you get Sunmi vibes from is Jinny, former YG trainee who was actually supposed to debut w/ Blackpink until YG made last minute cuts and brought it down to the 4 girl lineup we know today.
the girl who nailed that high note part is called Denise (red haired) also doing that amazing pre-chorus, she's a former trainee under YG and she's definitely one of the best 4th gen main vocalist. The girl on the intro with a strong voice is Dita, she's a dancer from 1MILLION Studio, we knew that she must be a crazy dancer if she's from 1MILLION. That girl who looks like sunmi is Jinny, she's also from YG in fact she was a part of PinkPunk aka the pre-debut Blackpink but get eliminated right before they debuted (same as Miyeon from (G)I-dle)
Secret Number's debut was good and showed off impressive talent and presence. But this follow-up is incredible and is a level-up in every conceivable way. It's one of those songs that when it dropped I listened to it over and over and over and I just haven't been able to get enough of it. I love it.

Denise carries the 3rd chorus / outro. She also rhymes beat with 빛 which is some creative writing. Dita's voice is so rich. Lea probably could have used more parts, but very minor criticism. Jinny raps and sings, and just has so much presence in this song.
Dita and Denise do a cover of I See The Light, from Tangled. Dita sings the high parts, and Denise does the low tones of the prince. Quite the contrast.
