- Accepting challenge of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Congress MLA Alex Reginald brought plastic eggs in Assembly. However, CM Parrikar stood by his word claiming the existence of plastic eggs in Goa to be false. He further assured the house to send it for testing to FDA and other labs for affirmation.

Goan voters should unite and reject such habitual political defectors and those politicians who have criminal convictions and corruption charges against them and give them permanent political retirement and instead elect committed sincere honest educated individuals in the forthcoming assembly elections...will Goan voters again succumb to money and muscle power? Also the politicians who have been elected for more than two terms and are now bringing their wives, daughters, sons, etc. into politics making it their own personal family business and fiefdom and the politicians who have criminal cases pending against them in the court for several years now due to the political settlement between them and the ruling BJP government should be given permanent political retirement by their voters!!!
