Part of what makes Technoblade's character so interesting is how he ISN'T broken. He embraces the voices and the violence, yet doesn't let them control him. They scream in his ears but he remains unfazed. He knows what he stands for, who he cares about, and all of his actions are deliberate and his own. Despite being a powerful and violent force, he's extremely noble.
Techno was to strong for his own body, he was meant to go to hell for dropkicking orphans but he busted thru heavens gate to take down the government of the afterlife.

Not sure if i'm overanalysing this, but i've been writing many english essays recently so i'm in the mindset to analyse stuff lmao. So, Techno is shown to only wear the mask in 0:330:40 and 1:30 . In these scenes he's the Blood God, or 'the blade'. He has to put on a mask to become this killer, and it's not who he actually is. When he fights Quackity, in 2:02 it shows the hands of 'the voices' covering his eyes, becoming the mask themselves. To me, this really shows that Techno isn't the one controlling his blood-thirst. It's his persona: the embodiment of the voices, a puppet of death.
I'd like to think it is still actually him underneath, but he's actively trying to hold it back, the mask is like an enabler that lowers the threshold because he feels more anonymous that way and so less responsible for his actions. When he's pushed to his limit and they try to execute him he's not wearing the mask, and he's fully embraced that side of himself, been pushed far enough that he doesn't need the mask anymore

HUGE fan of how at 1:53 i fully expected the transition to show him smiling, but he never smiles once. the totem isn't some cheeky secret its something he's having to do that he takes no joy in. fantastic animatic as always, that one detail just really stuck out to me.
I was really expecting a smile too, but now that I think about it even though technos character is constantly harassed by the voices he always manages to keep his sanity
He likes the idea of being faced with the possibility of dying and fighting but when death is imminent even when you’ll be revived straight away it sucks having to deal with and face that

Or he did die and somehow came back, but I didn’t really think this one through. And I don’t know what role would Techno play when Tommy is Theseus, but Tommy’s Minotaur could be a lot of things, but most likely it could be Dream from Tommy’s point of view, or it could be something else, even maybe more than one person, or maybe not even a person, just something he has to overcome
Rewatching every bit of techno content here, i also would love to point out the detail in wich he looks at his reflection on the ground with the mask on possibly implying that techno is the minotaur too. Wich does kinda makes sense with him calling tommy theseus instead of reffering as theseus to himself
This is absolutely amazing, the way you perfectly captured techno’s two sides: The menacing blood god tearing through the battlefield, and then the rather self-doubting person who just wants to protect his friends and family. I love it.
analysis: at first, techno was terrified of the person that the voices made him, but he felt like that's the person that phil is friends with, and worried that if he showed his true self to phil, he'll stop caring for him, and so he continued being he ruthless killer that the voices want him to be (shown in the scenes where he's sort of turned away from phil and wearing the mask but not smiling). later on, he begins to enjoy the freedom that it gives him and the fear that he strikes in others (which is shown in the scenes where he's wearing the mask and is leaving a trail of blood). at the end, he kills quackity as himself, without the mask, which from my perspective is him saying that he would kill without the voices telling him to, as long as it was for phil. (for phil in that, since he was under house arrest, techno wanted to help him get out) but anyway- pie, anyone? 🥧

I saw very interesting references, that's great to have some in an animatic, so I'm gonna write down what I understood: -In the start, neither Techno nor Phil has their emeralds, accord to the lore-hc. -When we watch the destroyed l'manburg we see the voices, portrayed by red eyes, closes to give ending and also, I think, represent that it's over the stream and they don't see more. -1:56 Him bloody arm is a reference of Sadist-Hog Hunt? And that's it.

This really captures Technos character, and his lore. The peer pressure, and his relationship with Phil that makes him calm- but yet the voices calling out of blood and watching his every move. And the lyrics explains how much he try’s to be the best and survive in the heck of the world that the Dream SMP is. He killed everyone, but yet, is the only brother with all his Lives. It’s sad, kinda. Anyway, great work!

I love how this shows that “The voices” are only within techno. And it gives his character a really cool background and why he’s so violent. Also it looks like his character is being controlled by the voices. That’s why him and Ranboo get along so well!♥️♥️

I saw very interesting references, that's great to have some in an animatic, so I'm gonna write down what I understood:
-In the start, neither Techno nor Phil has their emeralds, accord to the lore-hc.
-When we watch the destroyed l'manburg we see the voices, portrayed by red eyes, closes to give ending and also, I think, represent that it's over the stream and they don't see more.
-1:56 Him bloody arm is a reference of Sadist-Hog Hunt?

This really captures Technos character, and his lore. The peer pressure, and his relationship with Phil that makes him calm- but yet the voices calling out of blood and watching his every move. And the lyrics explains how much he try’s to be the best and survive in the heck of the world that the Dream SMP is. He killed everyone, but yet, is the only brother with all his Lives. It’s sad, kinda.
Anyway, great work!

Okay but THIS IS QUALITY I've seen multiple techno-animations now but this is one of my favourites. The audio was choosen good, the animation had some kind of story with philza and just wow.
wow i didn't even notice the subtle movement of the eyes and hands until my 4th or 5th time watching loll, brings me back to the glory days. Rest in power Techno.

I love how this shows that “The voices” are only within techno. And it gives his character a really cool background and why he’s so violent. Also it looks like his character is being controlled by the voices. That’s why him and Ranboo get along so well!♥️♥️
You may have heard this many times over, but despite Techno's passing, he is not truely dead. Because as long as we remember him, both as the person and the player, he will live forever.
This sure hits different right about now.
