This is no doubt an all time great that is and will stand the test of time…..the beat, sound, and lyrical flow hit hard!!!!!! Deserves much more love than it gets
Dec 2 1996 I had just gotten my driver's license, went to the mall and got the Best of MC breed, put it in the CD player in my 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass with 2 kicker 15s in the trunk when that 1st bass note hit and the bass hit so freakin hard it popped my trunk open. Me and the homes drove around that night playing this song on a loop for like 6 hours LOL
I'm FROM Flint...Born and raised. I remember when this dropped. You couldn't tell us SHIT!!! This is all you heard in EVERY car driving or every barbecue. We were proud as hell that a rapper from our spot was finally on the map. And had a dope ass song that was killing it everywhere!!! RIP Breed...
@@JOEYNOSEBEATS We LOVED the song, but was a little jealous cause of how Pac came in and stole the show, lol. We wanted Breed to have the hardest verse. That was the verse that propelled Pac to superstar status.
I remember this song was played at the first dance club I ever went to back in 1991. It was eighteen and over but we still got in. Music back then was so much better than today. We were lucky to grow up back then instead of now lol.
I was 11 years old when this dropped... 5th grade... I am 43 today... And this still go hard as it did when it first dropped!... Some songs are timeless... No matter how old it gets... Rip MC Breed!... They never gave bro his flowers for his contributions to the culture before he passed frfr... This joint should be in the top 50 hip hop classics of all time in my opinion... 💯🌹💯🌹💯
He was Michigan guy but connected everywhere and he shot this riding around Dallas .This and his Greg Street intro are classic to Dallas.6 O clock.D.O.C. produced few songs too
I was close with the guys in the group Ready For The World and lived by them in Flint in HS. They would play at my house parties on our back deck in the summers. The bassist Johnny one night had just gotten out of the studio after cutting this new never released track at the time 1989, and he put it on and bumped it for everyone to see how the crowd would respond. It was a huge hit to say the least. Johnny then gifted me that original studio tape and I bumped that song “Ain’t No Future In Yo Frontin’” for almost two years before it went huge nationally. Melvin, Johnny and their crew of Ready For The World were instrumental in getting MC Breed off the ground from the get go. The first time this song was ever played was at my house party. I had that old cassette tape for years, it’s probably worth a bunch of money now but I have no clue what I did with all of my old cassettes.
we didnt know what we had back then was gold, i lost a precious cassette tape with my grannys voice on it, and it kills me not knowing where it is, im praying you find em
