Our Lapland Ruka Ski Holiday 2023

- Incredible holiday in Ruka Finland, Lapland. Skiing, Snowboarding, snowshoeing and Dog sledding, what more can you want from a winter wonderland.
We stayed in an amazing @magicalpond6519 glass igloo for one night, then the rest of the time we spent at the lovely Ruka Valley Apartments.
I hope you enjoy some of the footage of the ski slopes and things we got up to during our week away.

@@ARG-Travel OK thanks. We're looking at going end of Jan so your video probably gives us a good idea of what snow conditions might be.
@@ChrisSmith-eq5fu amazing, I hope you have a great holiday! yeah I think this will be a good representation, it snowed slightly every day whilst we where there, going for walks in the forrest it was about knee height without snowshoes on. The snow cannons were on every night too so the conditions on the slopes where great! 🙌
ruka isnt in lapland
It's about a 10/15 min drive to the lapland border, lots of the ski travel companies in the UK post Ruka under the Lapland category when booking, but you are right not exactly in lapland though you can do all the fun things at the resort that are similar to all the other lapland resorts too.
