    You can tell the work went into this video in so many ways. The jump cuts, the sound suppression, holding tickets so you can see them, doing various products and not the same ones. This is insane Stephen, keep up the good work!!

  • @lexecomplexe4083

    Respect fast food workers. They work harder than many people in other positions and fast food is definitely not "low skill." It can be especially hard for night shift who have loads of additional responsibilities on top of multiple rushes throughout the night. Espeeecially if you work at a 24 hour location. We worked night shift at McDonald's and we always had just 1 manager and 2 crew, me included. 1 went home, then we had to do cash only, no POS machines or calculators, all head math. Which meant our manager was doing cash only and I alone was taking orders from both drive thru lanes, the lobby, manning every single cooking station, juggling a LOT of head math, assembling and bagging the orders, taking payment, (and if I got my math wrong, which is inevitable at some point, I would be in trouble by the GM) and handing out orders. And again, our lobby was also open and I couldn't close it. I had numerous people yelling at me, and a couple we accidentally handed the food before taking payment who then drove off. It was hell and why I never want to work there again, but dreadfully, will probably have to. Its stupid hard to find work despite so many employers complaining "nobody wants to work anymore!" Upper management is always unresponsive, apathetic, or actively hostile to crew. And the night shift are the most fucked over of all, but lunch shift is also really difficult. More than half the people you meet at McDonald's as a fellow crew member, you WILL see burn out and quit. And I don't blame them one bit. Its insanely stressful and wreaks havoc on your body. Also, never give them your 2 weeks, because they WILL punish you for it and work you to the bone thru to your last day and then try to guilt trip you into working past that date.
    RESPECT FAST FOOD WORKERS
    Its fucking hard

We used to make 4 or 8 burgers at a time and construct the whole burger, including laying the meat on the grill. It wasn't made to order back then. We used to estimate we needed in the bin (slide) and used time cards to keep track of how long ago they were cooked . It was really interesting to see how much it has changed. Thanks.

      @@SpectrumakaTaz you don't really have anything fresh now as the meat is cooked then can sit in trays for a lot longer than we let completed sandwiches sit in the bin way back then. pulling a patty off the grill to put on the bun, wrapping it and it sitting at most for about 4-5 minutes before it was in your hands is fresher than the current patty sitting in a tray for 15 minutes. current sandwiches are much dryer. the only exception is the quarter pounders - that meat is not cooked until the sandwich is ordered.

      @petergriffen437 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      im not stephen but as someone who is an employee at a mcdonalds i can tell you that when you get a big mac meal for example. the crew in grill would put the burger together like you see pretty much in the video.(the patties are not fresh they come frozen before we grill them) and then we put them inside of those trays you see them grab the patties from in the video. this does keep the food warm and it does not stay there for very long. then grill would send that down to whoevers bagging the food. and depending on how well staffed we are we either have a person making our fries or the person bagging it has to make it for us. its either the person that you see at the window you get your food at or a person near them putting together the drinks. all of this is all happening simultaneously typically and it makes it very easy to get orders out the window assuming you have a good crew working with you.

    The fact that they sell so few Big Macs is quite surprising to me.
    In Germany this Burger seems to me the most popular one (or second position after the cheeseburger). Idk exactly but I would think it is like that
    So you can see that every country has other preferences

    Hey. Like the videos. don't know why. Might be as it's so smooth. A question i wanted to ask. If you go in during slow time. how much would the kitchen hate you if you did some crazy edits on the items, like 4 time cheese and extra sauce? Or i always wanted to try the mc toast classic with extra cheese and mustard.

    McDonald’s and Walmart are like the two main places that have such a weird gap in ages. It’s always a mix of teenagers and old heads and anything in between. It’s so different from other places I see.
