First off, I love your videos. I just finished installing a flagstone walkway with a few stairs. It was my first project like this and your videos really helped. I used the Rompox for the mortar and love how it turned out. The flagstone i used is called Ozark and it has some really nice colors like gold and copper running through it that I love. Do you recommend using any type of sealant on the flagstones?

Awesome I’m so glad you were able to do that project and use some Romex! I typically don’t seal flagstone, however if you want to lock in some of the colours you certainly can seal it. Can put in a grip additive as well for some texture.

Hi Kevin, whats the gravel just above the 3/4" clear crush? Thank you!

For this video I used pea gravel, but if you have a smaller clear angular gravel up that way it would certainly be better!

@@HardscapeCanada ok gotcha. Ya I'm guessing 1/2" clear is maybe to big to set into? I the USA they seem to be able to readily get a 1/4" clear but I cant find it bulk anywhere here.

Does anyone know about anywhere in ontario that has some sort of stone masonry training schools?

There is a masonry course in Ontario! I forget what it’s called but I believe it’s the only full fledged stone/brick/block masonry course in Canada.

Feels like I've seen this same video from you three times now, even the footage doesn't change.
Also, aren't you also obligated to disclose paid sponsorships? Multiple videos from you end up just being ads - and that's fine, but your audience should be aware of it.

I admit there are similar themes, and some of the same shots are re-used however I’m trying to find the best way to communicate these ideas and bring all of them together in the best way possible. I really appreciate you watching them. I receive zero compensation for using these products, and mention them because they are simply the only ones that I have available in my market and I really like utilizing them!

And stay tuned I’m working on a lighting vid and a complete backyard profile with pavers and a dry creek bed etc so there will be lots of solid stuff to check out

@@HardscapeCanada Thats fair, each one has had something added to it. Surprising to hear that these aren't paid sponsorships though I thought for sure since you plugged their whole line of stuff, my bad. Looking forward to the lighting vid!
