Bigbang is the reason why I got into Kpop back then, and as the years go by, I started discovering BTS and listening to some of their songs and eventually became a fan of them 🥹 seeing both groups admire each other so much is really warming❤
I am a fan of BTS and I did not understand the hype behind Big Bang! I knew they were good because my older sister used to be a fan especially of Taeyang, therefore I knew of them but with MAMA 2024, I really got to know Big Bang and OMG my world is changed. For me, it is G-dragon that changed everything. This guy truly truly is the king of K-pop, undefeated. I understand everything now 😅 and I binged watched tons of performances, music videos and interviews, even Infinite Challenge with Gd which was top tier 👏🏾🫶🏾

BTS admire Big Bang, because they treat each other with respect and have never insulted each other, unlike the fans on both sides. It's also wrong to say "that BTS owes respect to Bigbang" for being an inspiration. BTS ymb deserves respect for everything they have helped K-pop, and most fandoms do not feel like recognizing them because they are not their favorite groups. That works both ways, some VIP talk down to Army and provoke them on purpose. But I agree, without BigBang BTS would be a different group or wouldn't even exist as it is. They were probably the biggest inspiration along with Epik High. It's a real shame what happened to BigBang and I miss TOP terribly but their music is still relevant and amongst the best till to this day.
