Hey guys! First of all congrats for the wedding! My husband and I are a german (he) and Mexican (me) couple. We just got married in February in Bacalar, and we can completely relate with all the questions of the video and videos in general. We could give you some advice if needed hahaha. We incorporated some German traditions in our wedding, like cutting a blanket with a shape of a heart and dancing below a shower of rose petals. Of course we also had la víbora de la mar and la liga. We had a very multicultural wedding, with some other activities as well to mix both of our countries. All the best!! Congrats!!
I'm also about to get married, and yes. The guest list is definitely the most stressful part of the planning. I don't want to invite my entire family, but it's hard that everyone expects an invite (friends too). It's been the most difficult part of it, but my fiance and I are handling it together which makes it so much better. Congrats to you guys!!

Something that we experienced was that you can keep it feeling intimate but have it larger than 70-80. Especially when you’re in your late 20’s and know a lot of people, you don’t want to let people feel excluded. We had about 250 but it was so personalized it still felt intimate and we didn’t have regrets about not including someone that wanted to be there. Just something to think about. 🤗

Congrats guys!! As a Mexican married to a German I understand the decision to do something small in Germany and have the big party in Mexico. Just keep in mind the bureaucracy to marry a foreigner in Mexico is way simpler than in Germany

Chicos los veo desde hace ya un buen rato y me voy a casar también. En este caso mi novio es francés y estamos pasando exactamente por el mismo proceso. De tooooodo lo que comentan aquí. Y sí, es muy buena idea no pedir regalos. Es muy cierto! Cómo vamos a cargar una licuadora o una cafetera, una vajilla en el avión!? No había pensado en eso. Ya de por sí es un gran esfuerzo el que hacen para ir a tu fiesta en otro país. Saludos!
