    More nj players should follow his lead. Plenty of star that just go out of state. Rutgers could be so much better

      I been saying this for years. If we could keep our own homegrown talent in the state we would be a powerhouse in basketball & football every year. But for some reason Rutgers & Seton Hall have a bad reputation and are looked down on. It’s not as glamorous as the Ohio States & UNC’s of the world

    Was hoping he'd be a Uconn Husky but no luck. Looks like Rutgers is going to have a fun season. Should be tourney bound. Congrats

      I would say the same thing as a Husky fan. Not throwing shade but Cliff Omoruyi may have chosen Rutgers because he looks to me by his skill set to be a one and done guy. I don't think Adama Sanogo is a bad constellation prize. He'll at least give us two years and that's depending on what kind of run Uconn will have this upcoming 2020-2021 season. Cliff has the tools to be good in the pro's especially how the game is played now. Congrats Rutgers, hoping he'll bring more talent to the basketball program.

      @@mrhighperformance2891 Doesnt matter now because we got Adama Sonogo!!! These two players faced off in high school and Sonogo dominated Cliff with 17pts and 23rbs!!! I hope we get a season.

      @@mr.nobody9697 I can envision him beating out Carlton for the starting center position. He has a better motor and he doesn't play soft. I'm praying Hurley doesn't try to stay loyal to the veterans : example Alterique Gilbert because his best move was to have him come off the bench. We saw how that worked out. Either way I'm excited for next year! Uconn Uconn Uconn!

      @@mrhighperformance2891 Gaffney became a starter near the end of the season when he was ready and I dont believe its a coincidence that we played better and were on our way to 20 wins when the season was cancelled. The only thing I wonder is if Sonogo is a two year guy or a one and done.Seems to me he's a two year guy but he seems really eager to get to the NBA so he may jump with even a decent season. I share your excitement. We're back!!! Uconn! Uconn! Uconn!!!

    My team played him when he was a Freshman. He was always tall but still new to the game at that point. I'm impressed with where he has gotten himself. Best regards moving forwards

      Mike Jones they have centers on the team already tho. It also doesn’t matter if he would start he would never get the ball with the amount of talent Kentucky is getting. Also his teammate Kahlil Whitney went to Kentucky and was wasted this season

      @@ljtuohey-kay2937 Nick Richards is their center and he's going pro. He had a chance to start during his freshman year at Kentucky and chose Rutgers. Terrible decision, you always go to UK, Duke or Kansas if they want you
