Fan from the UK here, genuinely surprised that the department of player safety do not use the balance of probability with regard to discipline; We certainly use it in the military and there is a strong case for it here; there's no video evidence proving it a second bite. However, the bite marks and the bleeding on the right hand strongly indicate he was bitten twice. Therefore on the balance of probability the Kings player is guilty and the suspension sbould be more severe, imho 😊
im going to be dead honest here i agree that clearly it was a second bite but i understand the department of player safety this is one of the only times i have agreed with it as they had no conclusive evidence although they probably did but this way the only way the suspension can be appealed is to bettman himself which wont happen

But that shoudn't matter. Marchand is a habitual slew footer and a 3 game suspension is not going to deter him from doing it again. Should have been at least 7 games.
