It’s sad their songs aren’t better known. They were hilarious. And catchy! My parents showed me this song when I was like…7 or 8? And every now and then I still get it stuck in my head and sing it everywhere I go.
This song is the michigan state anthem, albeit unofficially. Being a northern michigan boy, i get every line of this song. You may have to be from up north to realize it but this song and this goofy, lighthearted video are actually quit brilliant. And accurate.
I know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
@Lewis Noel thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Heard this song every fall when I was growing up. First time I’ve ever seen the video. I lost it when I saw the bayonet on the deer rifle. When the game warden finds him his punishment should be to write “A Deer Rifle is Not a Close Quarters Weapon” 1000 times.
Last time I heard this song was on the radio back in the 2008 when I was a kid when deer season began, this song never left my mind but only came back when I re heard da Turdy point buck
I saw em live when I was younger lol. They are why I'm so fond of Tim and Eric to this day and this video is so uncanny to hunting up north growing up.
I remember being a kid, sitting in my grandmother's kitchen in northern Indiana - so close to the Michigan border we call the region "Michiana" - and hearing this on the radio for several deer seasons.
Hahahaha 🤣 My dad texted me this song yesterday and I'm just laughing so hard. I have a history with this song cause my Uncle always sings this song to me.
I encountered this song maybe 20 years ago. Probably downloaded from somewhere or shared by someone. I have no idea where or from who, but my god it's amazing. I love that there is a video for it. Awesome band. Greetings from Norway.
Virtually a Yooper - grew up 10 miles south east of watersmeet. They used to play a Yoopers song ever night on Deer Hunters Roundupp. in the 80s and 90s on 99.7 if i reme!ber right

I am the only girl and the only one that doesn’t get totally wasted the first 15 minutes at the deer camp so I can say is pretty accurate this deserves an Oscar
Wow! I never lived in the UP but we all visited my aunt and uncle a few times per year. First when he was stationed at KI Sawyer AFB then when he moved to Carlshend after he retired. Lotsa fun, each visit was at least 2 weeks. The summer of 1998 was my introduction to the Amish. My cousin took me to some of their keggers which were every weekend the teenagers of an Amish community would throw beer parties, $3 per head for all you can drink, plus shots, those amish loved to do shots. They had food too. Nothing fancy, just snacks and bread. Good times. I havent been up in over 20 years. I miss it
Fellas from camp go for beer ... ya all remind me of fellars I knew growing up on silver mountain ... i invite yall to come to redneck wonderland and shoot some videos and the shit... we got minty old sleds and yooper hospitality... come on round sault mi you hit me up!

Most of us Yoopers are Packer fans. The majority of Lion fans are in the southern part of Michigan.
I made a parody of this song about summer camp. I changed we never shoot no deer to we never drink no beer
Where’s this place at , I need directions ASAP
