Great video, I grew up spending summers on Lake Erie. My dad always had a sailboat, usually smaller wooden ones, I think one was called a BlueJay, his las one was an O'Day Day Sailer. It was fibreglass, I took out one very windy day and broke the aluminum mast and damaged the "mast step". Wish we had youtube 40 years ago. The Laser brings back lots of memories as there was at least a 1/2 dozen of them on the beach that our cottage was on. We would convoy the sailboats and the Laser guys always seemed to have the most fun.

Very cool! We're up on Georgian bay. That's my friend Ted in this video. Having youtube sur emakes repairing anything, including an MGB a lot easier! I installed a few mast steps when I worked in his glass shop years ago. The hardest thing is the deck work, which is where these kits come in handy. Ted's semi-retired now but has a custom mold for these and makes around 30 a year.
I've seen a couple of your videos as I bought a 1968 MGB GT this year and have been sorting out a few issues. Might post some videos of it soon. Thanks for the comment.

That’s funny, my “B” was first registered in Kagawong which I think is part of the Manatoulin Islands and pretty close to Georgian Bay.

Hi Doga. Hopefully I've understood correctly. The kit comes with the block for the mast diversifiedfiberglass.ca/
It's made out of white oak. If you're looking just for the block, you can email Ted through the contact form and he may be able to send just the base.
