first, thank you for all the love the real ones send my way. i appreciate the world of it. unfortunately i have a mind that hears the negative louder than the positive.
i would love to create a dialogue with yall about this so feel free to ask genuine questions down below and in later videos, i'll plan on answering them.
reminder, i don't need yall to tell me how to fix the situation. i think a month away from dmz streams is a good first step.
the haters might have won the battle, but we will win the war. just gonna take a step back, gear back up, and come back stronger.

Hi cross2crown I just want to say that you are one of a few genuine people out there, the haters envy your success in life general. Do not lose faith you are a great man that has helped me when I was at my lowest in life and I continue to watch your streams and videos because you are a great inspirational person a good man of God. There is alot that people can learn from one another. The toxicity is real and won't leave a great person like you because they can't be great in life. Continue to be positive and happy. I think you are doing amazing in a game full of stream antiperspirant, cheaters, and hackers. Life is beautiful and simple , living is challenging and difficult for us to overcome and get stronger, wiser, and achieving your peace and happiness In this life. 8 I'm in the same boat man, life is hard, and DMZ was one of my favorite things to do. I went on a deployment last October after having played DMZ for the entire duration it was up to that point. I fell in love with the game mode because it was casual and whether it was doing missions or just sweating with friends and also picking up random players and doing random things it was just so much fun. However, before I left it had the worst update which is the current one because of getting rid of 6 mans and so I was kind of already done with the game and after coming back to play after the deployment was over to find it just filled with 4-man squads camping with RGLs and 1 shot shotguns just made it all worse. I still play but usually can only have fun playing if I'm drinking so I can just let go which during the first year wasn't the case at all. I played every chance I could, still drank too but could still have fun regardless. I'm a very anti-social person and so games are kind of my big interaction with other people when I'm not at work, so this game was really great at first to just let go. Unfortunately, now it's just not the same and it definitely has affected me as well, so I completely understand where you're coming from. I never really play solo and don't really like to either. However, watching you, Dillon and Wizard fight 6 mans and demolish them was definitely fun to watch and if they ever do update this game even a micro update back to 6 mans would be awesome. Anyways sorry for my rant, said all this just to let you know you have been a main stay for me and been watching you for quite a while, and while I'm not a sports fan so I haven't watched you play that. I just wanted to let you know I support you and you've helped me through alot!
Take care of yourself and come back whenever you're ready! Just know a lot of us are supporting you and can't wait for your comeback!

Hey cross. So I watch a lot of dmz streamers. Dillon, wizard, quix, haste, perf, phixate, on1c and yourself. I find you can be a little arrogant to players not as good as you. I play often on top of a full time job, a wife and kids. Im also in my 40s. Point is we cant all be as good as you guys are but thats what makes the game great.....but to us its a game, to you guys its a job. As far as comparing you guys of course we do. Same way we all debate who the best bball player is, best rapper, mj or lebron, its not personal. That being said my advice to you is change for noone. Stand on your beliefs and the way you are because you have a loyal fan base and people truly enjoy watching you, myself included. But you cant please everyone. Be you brother and keep your head up.

Well said and my thoughts exact. Cross is a top tier DMZ player but comes across as a little arrogant to lesser skilled players. Also didn't like it when he soemtimes got killed and picked up only to switch to another team to hunt the team that picked him up because he was salty. I can accept that game dynamic because it's how he wants to play. I find his content unique and fun with this dark side. It makes him different to the rest and I like this bad boy style.

As soon as you said you struggle with mental health, I totally got it. From experience the social media element can be toxic, and in turn you respond in various ways where you don’t feel yourself. Especially if you’re struggling as well, since it will only fuel those feelings. I’ve always enjoyed your videos dude. You’re a great guy. Just remember it’s only a game. People watch and will critique what they see. Perhaps not understanding that the game has changed and therefore your style and personality along with it. I think you know what will fix it deep down but that will require sacrifice on your side. Look after yourself mate. There’s always going to be a contingent of people that will try and bring you down to make themselves feel special. I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling.

@Cross2Crown2 I'll be honest here about my opinion as a guy who occasionally tunes in and enjoys your streams. First off, I think you are highly entertaining and a great player. Some may see or hear that your name is from having a "religious based" origin and don't kno your story and drop into a stream and hear you using profanity or being "toxic" to someone you kill and perceive you as fake for that. That you aren't "religious" for that behavior. I don't believe that to be true, but if I had to bet that is where the hate comes from. Just my opinion. Best of luck sir.

    I really appreciate you, Chris.
I've been watching you for about 2 years & I've always loved your content & I've alwqys wondered why these people think you're toxic.
I am very misunderstood myself so that is something I get & that sucks
Sometimes, we just want to be fully understood & seen so that sucks when we aren't.
I really enjoy your personality, your skill set, your matter of fact way of speaking & your how you're direct.
I'm a believer myself so the fact that sharing your faith & being bold about that is truly appreciated.
I relate a lot to you in regards to not understanding why you aren't liked by so many people because I'm always so kind & compassionate but I tend to always speak my thoughts about things that other people avoid & I am not afraud to say what needs to be said but I do so using kindness & love but that is usually met with people gettiing annoyed, triggered, et cetera.
That's affected my mental health a bunch cause I feel like I can't be the whole version of myself at times.
I have struggled with other mental health issues dude to depression, PTSD & similar issues so I do understand the importance of that side of the things you discussed.
I love the part about you discussing how you need help cause that is something I take serious & that is something we should all be able to self-reflect about, admit & express.
We all need to be our brother's keeper
Thank you for talking so freely about the topic of men's mental health cause that is something that is so overlooked these days
As an athelete myself, I get the issues regarding competitiveness that some people just can't grasp.
That said, things got better when I learned to put that aside for things like video games.
    Always remember, you're not alone.
God has big plans for you, Chris
    Stay faithful & remain prayerful.
    Take care, brother.

I think the thing is we are older people with jobs, so we don't play all day every day. So we aren't bored with the game, we get excited when it's time to play. So when a streamer starts calling the game trash and negative about it, it gets old.

And on top of that he thinks its not toxic not picking people up who clearly never tried to pvp. Thats wrong. Its a Mission Based game first. Full stop. Its fine if an individual or team only intends on pvp but its beyond not even funny anymore to not lift an obvious mid missioner or serpentine runner, etc whether they speak or not. At least force an exfill on him/her after lift lol. Im mostly directing this towards any dmz streamer. Its no problem for me as ive done every mission and passive mission. I still play daily and never have i ever brought a fight to someone. Helping others play the game for its intended purpose (missions) and setting the pace by always driving and directing noobs on how to do it, is fun after completion.

I’m not a public persona but I imagine all (also on YT) have to be genuine but also put a face on. Not too fake but still a version of oneself. Because we all have good, bad, happy, angry, sad, etc. in us. So, like in a job or any relationship, we do have to choose which version we will be and not just “be outselves” because that doesn’t actually exist at a single thing. When you play with Dillon I noticed you are in a good mood or persona or whatever it should be called (English isn’t my first language so forgive me for not being exact with the nomenclature).
Just get better at looting and putting things in your Field Upgrade slot, that’s the only “complaint” I have, lol. (Joking).

I've often found that C2C is real with his opinions and feedback, so i'll stick to the same.
Watching C2C, there are times where i disagree with certain aspects, there are times where i fully agree - thats the beauty of individuality. Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one.
I watch C2C streams and recordings because they entertain me, overall, C2C is my go to streamer for DMZ content. We see him being called a hacker, toxic, petty, rude and a whole host of other colourful terms. Shittin on someone because they are being themselves and having fun whilst creating content that a lot of people clearly enjoy, in my eyes, is jealousy or just plain stupidty and resentment.
When you hear someone sounding almost broken and worn down from stupid ass comments and toxicity, it leaves you starting to realise that the world is just a dark place where the accepted thing to do is starting breaking down people who have found something they can do for a living - outside of the standard type of employment. The guy plays games, for a living, doing something he clearly loves doing. How many people in the working world can say they get the same from their choice of employment? Getting paid to do something the are passionate about. I know for sure i cannot say the same. Sure, i like my job and i get treated well but given the choice - i'd trade career paths in a heartbeat, if i could hit most of my shots and understand tactics rather then go sprinting in and wait for a pick up.
@C2C - you do you bro, you're always going to find haters and people who think they can and should try to break you down. You answer to no-one and judgment on you or your actions will come from all walks of life.
I'm not a religious person so i won't replicate your video ending, other than to say, have faith bro.
