I got gifted a playset of fortified village and canopy vista and it made the deck play so much easier to play so no worries here, now the hardest part is doing all the math for how many cats i have and how strong they are XD
I was playing something similar but I run an abzan list. fatal push and anguish unmaking are crazy removal, plus anguish is a wide target and is immune to enchantment removal. after that I tech a Rhonas and oketra for some trample and big hitters. also, I like appeal to authority because it can easily tap down peoples creatures and if you have a good board state you can easily make an adorned pouncers a 5/5 double strike trample without the eternalize. I wanna playtest anointed procession but it seemed a tad slow and clunky but I never got around to trying it out. because I'm running 3 colors I also use attune with aether and 4 aether hubs for better fixes. overall, I like the deck and it feels solid but it's lack of removal and card draw makes it very difficult to compete with bigger decks.
Take longtusks out and play oketra, she will always be able to attack and block because of the amount of creatures and its a good mana sink with procesion ;)
Are you forgetting that Felidar Sovereign is also a cat, and an alternate win condition to boot? With all that lifelink in the deck, it may be worthwhile to run a couple, even if he's high on the curve. I'd also side Felidar Cub against enchant-heavy strategies (i.e. control).
Felidar Sovereign is great, but I felt that the cmc to pay was a bit high. But if you did want it in the deck, I would trade out A Caracal for it. :) Also Felidar Cub would be a great sideboard against the mirror match up. Good idea. -Terran

Is Hashep Oasis worth running? I have a friend running a couple copies in a similar deck with really good results, especially since the ability works so well with Adorned Pouncer, as well as Oketra if you choose to include her.
I've facing nothing but control whether it be grixis, U/R, or U/W. So I've gotten in the habit of boarding more prowling serps in, like even x4 sometimes. I also run gideon x2, and nissa x2, the latter performs suboptimally from what i've seen, i might just board in some longtusks and feral prowlers to test em out.
prowlers help on the mid to late game card draw you so desperately need. Longtusk can also get under counters early game, and if you're really liking that gameplan attune with aether would be a good sideboard option as well. -Terran

I think it's good, but not great. Also yea, it misses the mark with making warriors and not cats -_- #FlavorFail But if you put this in the deck, taking out longtusk cubs would be decent. -Terran
It only works with 8 cats (4 Adorned Puncer and 4 Regal Caracal). Sacred cat can't be made cheaper. I think this deck needs more ways to keep grinding since you have low card draw. Personally I would add 2 Dusk//Dawn and see how it works out
i'm running something simular, but bringing in Oketra because cat god and why not? Also running dissenter's deliverence instead of natural obsolescence. Kinda surprised to not see any felidar cubs in here, there's alot of nasty enchantments in standard right now that it deals with. Finally, running 2 Nissa voice of Zendikar.

some many things i want to add but would probably make it more GW tokens then cat deck xD been testing a new type of GW tokens but ill keep on theme with you guys with my "why not X/ card" questions but b4 that do you really want to add solemnity in to the side? i mean say so want to side it in vs temur energy, what do you take out? i mean you have to take out 8 of your creatures because they uses energy, and then any incoming aether hubs you play after and just Wastes. dont think you want to play a card that hurts you even if your hurting them worse. any way only really why not i have is why not Appeal // Authority, if you have a wide board stake the card can ether end the game, or put you so ahead after combat that you can can end it the turn after if they dont have a board wipe, keep in mind you will be mainly casting both halfs in one turn. have any argument against it?
Like I said in the video, the sideboard is a "covering your bases" sideboard. I recommend tinkering around with until you're happy. But Solimnity, to me, felt more worth it than not most of the time. Especially since most of my abilities lie within making tokens and number of creatures on the field. As for Appeal//Authority, I love combat tricks, but when 60% of a standard deck is basically some form of removal, I'd much rather have blossoming defense. Feels less like a dead card in my hand in the late game thanks to hexproof. but that's just my opinion of course. I always, ALWAYS recommend tinkering and making the deck your own. :) -Terran
have you thought about running a couple more board wipes second harvest and wait for it........ hour of eternity. I know it throws the mana base out of wack but the combo of being unafraid to board wipe because you will just get two of everything you just lost. plus s3cond harvest means that for let's say 4uuu you can get back 4 regal caracals and 16 cat tokens with life link it's a game ender almost immediately after it's played and in a mid range meta it's not gonna be uncommon for games to go 10+ turns if the game stalls out
and I would love that deck tech hour of eternity has a lot of strong synergies in standard right now and think it's heavily undervalued but anyways thanks for the hard work and keep up the good job love your deck techs
I own several serpopards and no longtusks, do you think that's an ok substitute? I'm playing in paper and just didn't wanna reorder the cubs. My pouncer and sovereign are already ordered.
Aaron Deifel it puts your curve up a bit higher, but for the trouble you have more firepower. I think it's ok, but that double green means it may not be a decent turn 3 play if you play lands incorrectly. -Terran

You could make it less cats and put red in there. I have a cat Tribal Standard and I have have made it Naya just for removal and good value. You can still have your best cats but maybe not all the bad ones.
check out my version called El Pussy Gato. I use Nature's Way for removal because it's much cheaper and much better value especially if you have a life link creature out. mirage mirror play set to copy the Lion and exert or even copy an anointed procession before playing a Lord or exerting a lion. also God Pharaohs Gift to bring back from the graveyard and protect from creature wipes. Card is awesome if you target a Caracal with two processions out. 8x 3/3 tokens? Yes please!
Dallas Nelson Works really well to build up a ton of tokens and not leave your big cat tapped or after you have a huge cat, just copy it out and go on the attack. it's one of the main staples in my version of the deck as its so synergistic with the cats, enchantments and artifacts and also acts as a clutch blocker. I've even used it once to mana fix on a bad hand, lol. abrade can hurt, but generally it's so unassuming most go for different targets.
I'm also building tribal cats more oriented towards mid-late game through God-Pharaoh's Gift. What does your build look like? Mirage Mirror sounds interesting to play however I'm afraid of clogging up the 3 drop spot too much in my current build, I'd like to playtest it though.
Just because you want to play cats doesn't mean you have to play terrible cats. I wouldn't play cats as a "tribal" theme deck, I'd rather play good cats that pressure the game early. A GW Pummeler deck with Adorned Pouncer and Longtusk Cub would mean that you have 12 must-answer threats, and you can sideboard into go-wide tokens with Pride Sovereigns and Regal Caracals.
I'm thinking of making one with Always Watching while it is still legal in Standard. After rotation, then I might change it to Annointed.

I play a playset of felidar sovereign on mainboard and a playset of felidar cub on sideboard don't use feral prowler and I only use 2 longtusk cubs
what about the lunarch from soi? would he be good since he gives everything the stats they share?

I would add a felidar sovereign If your cats have +1+1 and lifelink from your regal caracl then you can easily get 40+ life and win the game instantly
