Help, I'm a PCBH addict! been watching from the beginning, up to 10 episodes a day. I keep telling myself I should take a break, but I am so hooked!
PS yes, nothing's perfect, there's plenty to criticise, and I do sometimes - but overall, it's still the best tv series ever!
I was the same but its not as good as it used to be so Im not as bad as I was. If you are watching 10 eps a day, you should have finished watching them all a while ago now. Try sons and daughters next, thats my plan anyway!!

Even in the most adverse situations, Reb has the knack of portraying herself as cool, calm and collected. Her cool style is one of the things I have always liked about her character. She just had the Freak's hand around her throat and was then told she was moving to a maximum security prison, but she still very calmly walked out the cell straightening her collar and combing her hair as usual whilst concealing her inner negative feelings. She is played by a good actress too.

At the start of this episode Reb had some bodyguards to back her up, leverage over the Freak, the drugs racket under control and managed to con Reyno into trusting her. Now after a few minutes it's all turned to shit and she's heading to Blackmoor. She surely wins the Quickest Ever Downfall Of A Top Dog Award!

Interesting how many times Maggie Thatcher's namedropped in this show. Proves what an all-powerful figure she was back in the day(more's the pity for us Pommies who had to grin and bear it under her reign lol). If this was filmed now, I doubt they'd even know who David Cameron is lol.

Even tho Reb was a snake in the grass and got what was coming to her, it was cool to see her walk out in style with her collar and comb, doing her James Dean ting. Props on her calling the Freak out. She has to hide her evil behind a uniform and a rulebook, behind it, she's just a sad pitiful person. Reb had her shook lol. Btw, I got shivers when Ferguson told her she was going to Blackmoor. Even the name makes it sound like some dreaded medieval dungeon lol.

Later on we get to hear some horrendous things about blackmoor and we get a few good episodes from there it looks like something out of the dark ages wentworth is definitely like a holiday camp compared to blackmoor

Janet Andrewartha (Reb Keane) is the latest Prisoner actress to pass away, just a couple of weeks ago. She was 72 and "died in her sleep" just a couple of months after being told she had cancer.

ianharperuk Hehe. No, Phil was shot by that maniac, Phyllis Hunt's boyfriend. Phyllis' boyfriend killed three police officers, kidnapped Ann and Meg and then he killed one of those two police officers, who came to investigate and to rescue Ann and Meg because of that trip wire setting off the explosion in the factory.

I was going to say the same thing after his death. He should have died long before that of shame for his shite acting. Probably the worst actor/character combo of the first 500 episodes.

They have been in prison with Reb long enough to know what a sociopath she is. So, they give her top dog position and instantly regret it and try to take it back. One of the dumbest story lines in this show.
She fooled them into thinking she had changed, that's why!
I guess they're in prison in the first place because they made very bad decisions. I know Prisoner is hardly realistic, but in real life a disproportionate percentage of prisoners have ADHD - which causes impulsive decision making, amongst other things.
One of the most frustrating things about the show is that people just don't speak up when they should. For instance ,why didn't Ann speak up and say that it was not Phil's baby but the result of the rape. I know it's just a easy way to continue more drama and conflict.
all the governor does is roll her eyes up everytime sometimes talks to her, what does she expect as head of a prison - a frolic in the garden?

The area hasn't changed much. I have that and quite a few other photos on the outside that I've been taking in the past year, as well as in over the last 10 years.

I have Watched the prisoner series 4 times every episode and absolutely love it , its one of the best series Ive ever watched that was made in Oz and love all the actors.

I used to watch another Aussie series until it disappeared. Does anyone know a show about a patrol boat and her crew who used to chase down foreign crooks over fishing, smuggling, etc. in Australian waters? It was an excellent show, but I don't know the name of it. Any info would be a great help.🇨🇦

There was a shop I think in Australia called Buckley and nunn, like a department store. So people would use the phrase buckleys or none, both meaning no chance at all. A bit like between a rock and a hard place.
