@@ary9344 I've been able to adapt to the cold weather in Stockholm where I live. Winter in Stockholm can reach -20 degrees. The coldest months are Dec-Jan. End of Dec the sun rises at 09:00 am and sets at 14:00 pm. In northern Sweden the weather is most extreme, this year it reaches -45 degrees. But it is undeniable that the long dark winter has made many people here become depressed. And many depression drugs are found in pharmacies here. Mostly Swedish they are anti social and not easy to smile and not friendly like Indonesian people. Many foreigners in Sweden don't have Swedish friends, including me 😂 In fact, most of my friends in Sweden are Indonesians 🇮🇩

Skiing on a frozen lake or on a mountain etc. But it's a pity that many Swedes are cold and hard to make friends with them. i really love how polite rural indonesian people is, their hospitality.. so humble and welcoming even when you visit at their home they'll treat you the best as they could.. they'll bring out the snacks, give you some drinks (tea / coffee) or they'll also ask you to eat. "don't be shy, take a seat and enjoy the meal", btw the woven bamboo wall reminds me with my grandma's house and how Mr.Ibnu's shaking the beans rewiring my old memories of my grandma.

I have been living in Jakarta for years, and this reminds me of my lovely hometown. That kind of large portion food, chit chat with granny uncle and aunty, the warm neighborhood is also typical family in west java. hopelly you can explore another warm and lovely village in Indonesia. thank you Nick and Ibnu's family

So happy to see you experienced the _kampung_ vibe in person. It reminds me of my dad village. I miss it, he's gone too soon. Stay Safe, Nick. Come visit Makassar, South Sulawesi 🙏

I didn't expect Nick to reach my city in Lumajang, if at this time Mount Semeru didn't erupt, there were many tours around the lava flow on the way there. but currently the city of Lumajang is experiencing a disaster.

@@NickKTravel yea, that's why there are more Indonesians living in urban areas than the rural because by demographic, Indonesia is dominated by productive-aged people which mostly work in the cities. rural areas are usually resided by farmers and elderly people.
