This year on October 20th will be 20 years I lost my older brother less than a mile from my house. He was on his way to school on his bike and a truck ran a red light and hit him. He didn’t make it to the hospital. I remember the sirens and being in waiting room and watching the doc come out and seeing him shake his head at my mom and my mom breaking down. I was three, it’s a painful scar that hasn’t healed. Best three years of my life. Him and I did everything together. This song reminds me of those good times we had R.I.P Skyler 1993-2003
