That is how I found about him as well. I am totally captivated by this young man's talent. This piece is ethereally beautiful and so inspiring. I absolutely love it!
This feels like dancing inside myself while lying very still and watching the stars, with a smell of hay in my nose and a nice summer breeze touching my skin .
This is so beautiful!! I somehow imagine a lone girl only able to walk on water, following the tides, unable to cross the threshold to walk on land. She walks and dances across the water under the stars for eternity, but one day she sees a boy, who steps off of land and onto his small boat on the water. She's amazed and they both quickly become best friends and they dance for the several moons she's there, following the rise and falls of the tides. But she can feel the tide tugging her away from the bay, and so they have their final dance on the water underneath the constellations for one final night. The moonlight is bright, and fireflies follow their movement - it's a magical scene, and it's the happiest both the girl and the boy have ever been in their lives. But all too soon, dawn comes, and the tide recedes. The girl dips into her last curtsy, the boy into his last bow, and she dances away into the vast expanse of the ocean. And yet neither of them are sad, because they both remember the other with fondness and happiness throughout their lives.
My English is not very good but I just want to say why haven't I found this sooner. I don't know why I started tearing up hearing this it's just too overwhelming and ever beyond beautiful. I wish you all the best pls never do stop making music you love so much I will be supporting with what I can from here on out and this made me wish I never gave up music. musicians like you are hard to find, such overwhelming love for music. I don't know If that mde sense but yes just wanna say I love your music very much thank you for this
i feel i rush of peace, positive, and like something amazing has just happened. it almost feels like a happily ever moment the climax and the beautiful ending. this needs to be a some movie, like a dancing scene for a movie or anything everyone should hear this ♡♡ its brilliant!
In a few weeks, I think I'll be remembering when I subscribed to you (less than 500 subs) and feel happy for your great success because that's where you are headed right now. Alex to 50,000!
Ever since I discovered your channel, i.e. 2 hours ago, you are now my new biggest inspiration to produce actually wonderful and amazing music!!! I love your work, never stop!
Saw your country side rigadoon show up in my suggestions and realized I hadn't seen any other posts despite subscribing. So congrats sir, you're my very first notification bell
This is an absolutely beautiful piece. I feel like I heard some inspiration or just happy coincidence, little bits of the tunes from Pixar's movie Up! Specifically "We're in the Club Now" Also, when it went full blown madness, all I wanted to do in that moment was to turn the volume up even louder. I want to hear this, in person, played by people. Wow, just absolutely wow!
Sounds like a wonderful movie theme for me. Like a Loving couple dancing under the stars in the night. Such a wonderful piece Alex. And with only 3.400 views underrated as f***. I think we'll hear a lot of you in the future...Perhaps the new Zimmer...who knows :) all the best and greetings from germany!
Beautiful piece! The dynamics are on point, especially the buildup in the middle which gave me goosebumps. I could easily imagine the main theme in some movie and this piece being in it. However, I'd like to give some (hopefully) constructive criticism. As a stand-alone piece, I'd like to hear the main theme being explored more. Experiment with harmony and rythm, maybe try to mix and match different parts of the piece together. You could even introduce another theme and find various ways it interplays with the main theme (although this would necessarily lengthen the piece significantly, and may not fit in every composition). As an amateur piano-composer myself, I'm really looking forward to see your growth as a composer. Thus far I've enjoyed everything you have uploaded here, and I'm waiting to hear more of your amazing compositions (:
I have to agree here. At first I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty of this piece, but after about 2/3 of it, my attention started to wander and I started reading the comments instead of focusing on the music. Now I'm in no way a professional musician, but I do love waltzes. And there further on in the piece, it started to feel a little repetitive. I would have expected/loved more variation or exploration of the main theme, or even still different themes (like the Blue Danube and the Kaiserwaltzer have lots of different themes as well). But hey, that's just an amateur waltz-lover's opinion :-)
My god Alex! To say your pieces are wonderful is a MASSIVE understatement. They are beautiful, emotional, and so full with passion. This is absolutely amazing work. I might start calling you Mozart's reincarnation because these pieces are up there with the masters. Thank you for blessing us with such beauty.
Oh my goooood so beautiful and magnificent composition!!! I came from Twoset's video and felt the extreme need to check out your channel and listen to your compositions :)

Wow u just write a wonderful plot up there
i could imagine an old couple dancing slowly under the stars in the beginning, reminiscing their childhood and their wedding in the waltz part.
Came from TwoSet, stayed for the quality. This is really elegant!
I am a simple person. I see Alex LaMotte, I clicc
it's giving the same vibe as married life from the movie "up"

Love this. Feels like Tchaikovsky if we was American if that makes any sense. Forget the comparison. This is really just quite lovely.
Thank you :) I’m glad you like it!

This reminds me of star wars
666th like, rightly so, this is hellishly good.
Hey Alex, just wanted to let you know the Spotify link in your description does not seem to be working. Would love to follow you there!
Just curious did you get inspiration from Super Mario Galaxy 2? I'm getting some extreme underwater vibes. Very nice piece.
That was one of my favorite childhood games, so I'm not surprised if I did a little bit. :) The soundtrack is incredible!
I went to a funeral last week and this was played at the beginning. I was simply entranced. Am I able to buy it on a CD?
I don't have anything physical yet, but I hope to make that a reality hopefully soon!
